They are doing another pop event isn’t this like the 8th one we had? First it was those summer skins and in total that was 6. the 2 pajama ones bring us to 8. The dino one brings us to 9. The 2 celestial ones is now 11. Now this new one brings us to 14 gatcha events. At this point it’s just scummy

Point wasn't to liken gambling to homelessness, it was that asking a gambling addict to have some self control is the same as asking someone who's homeless to buy a house. Both situations are just not gonna happen.

"When pigs fly" type statement, not an analogy or a comparison.

It still makes zero sense. It's not the same at all. Someone with an addiction still has choice. They still choose to walk into a casino and spin the wheel. Those are active choices they make and commit to.

A gambling addict actually can just stop. While a homeless man can't just buy a house. The homeless man isn't making an active decision like the gambler is.

For example I'm a smoker, if someone offers me a cigarette for free and I take it. Should I blame them for praying on my addiction and enabling it? No that would be stupid. It's down to me to say now.

Because it's not an analogy. You're treating it like one. It's about the improbableness of both. "When pigs fly" doesn't make sense either, people still use it.

It's not making sense I'm aware of that. Are you genuinely trying to say it's equally improbable for a man to stop gambling then it is for a homeless man to buy a house? One is clearly extremely more improbable then the other,
