Theres a spot in the us where you can walk and be in 4 states in less than a minute. Fastest was about 4 seconds

/uj Going on a 2-week Norwegian roadie is on my bucket list.
I want to go all the way to the "Please don't urinate in the direction of Russia" sign.
A sign that's in English, in case you're wondering who urinates in the direction of Russia.

it will always be funny to me that we drew the USA states borders randomly with a ruler following what we did to Africa

Ever since the castration the helmet has migrated to the north while southern Norway & southern Sweden have become testicles. The white is up north, so it all makes sense now.

European here. Europe is not that big. From Amsterdam to Moscow is about 2.500km, NYC to LA is 4.500km. Europe is not tiny but it’s in no way huge. You can probably see every country in a month.

See as in expirience it or just take a look and that's done?
I always hear how it takes more than a week to see Disneyland, and that's just one part of Paris.

All terms recording the topic are very subjective.
I think you could get a vague view of the dominant culture of a country in half a day to a day. And with about 25-30 countries in Europe that would be 1 a day. Especially in the Benelux, Balkan and Baltic regions that’s doable due to geographic proximity.

I mean, seeing them (just surface level) is harder than it seems.
Like, yeah, you can check 3/4 of the countries by doing doing 3 straight lines and 24 hours drives (that's 2 weeks in practice).
But good luck checking the rest within 2 weeks. Portugal, Ireland/UK, Iceland, Malta, Cyprus, half the other Nordics (you can't really optimize those straight lines for all 4 of them), then the microstates. Just an airport connection doesn't really count.
Also, what are the rules? In the US, you can probably check 2 states by crossing the line and that's it. But in Europe, you might want to consider the cultural factor. Like, if you're going in the Balkans and just touching the villages, you're not really seeing anything; they're all the same from North Macedonia to Slovenia. But there are bigger differences in urban areas between Transylvania and Southern Romania than between Denmark and Finland, or Alabama and New York.

Definitely not here in Florida. 41 minutes, you’re still in the same city 😂 It takes us 5-6 hours to drive from north Florida to south Florida.

You can even be in 4 states at once in the US. Only my left hand has been to Utah. Good times.
