What were they doing in Alberta trying to get to Alaska? Sounds like a wrong turn

The Alaska Highway connects to British Columbia Highway 97, and then to Alberta Highway 2, which extends down to Montana. It is the most direct route to Alaska from the lower 48 by road.

Alberta’s QE2 is the fastest way to Alaska thru Canada.

Aren't they arranged in alphabetical order from the top down?

Unless you’re coming from the West Coast, most people will drive through Alberta to Alaska.

If I remember correctly they thought it would be super quick just to head through northern BC or NW Territories and then the Yukon. Like a couple hours is what they were thinking... lol

It’s amazing to me that they didn’t like, look at a map prior to taking this kind of monumental trip
