To which one?

Both. California takes about 14-16 hours to drive north to south, but about 5 hours to drive east to west. We routinely drive over 700 miles in a weekend to get to Los Angeles and back

how often is "routinely" ?!? How often are you making the LA trip/why would you put yourself through that on a routinely basis!??
I'm from norcal myself but it's been almost 7 years since the last time I was in LA and we flew there lmao

At least two or three times per year. Was just in Long Beach. My uncle used to drive highway 99, before highway 5 was built, from the Bay area to Bakersfield as his sales territory. Not much different than desk sitting all day

Not all of us routinely drive 700 miles in a weekend to get to Los Angeles and back. Some of us drive 700 miles in a weekend to get from LA and back.

J/k, I live in the Bay Area and I've only gone as far south as Monterery

Haha. Well, Los Angeles and San Diego are well worth visiting!

Someone would have to invite me to LA. The only thing on my To Do list for LA is to see a comedy show at The Largo. I'm sure the list should be bigger, but I left the desert for a reason :D

What other things should be on my eventual LA trip list?

Sandy Eggo seems more my speed. I went to Palm Springs for a conference this year and it was okay, but I think San Diego is a bit more me.

Endless list, friend... beaches, history, shows, sports, museums and missions, hiking, biking...
