Two days ago I launched a little snail mail penpal club for junk journalers, scrapbookers, and anyone who keeps every ticket stub. I honestly didn't know if anyone would want in.

In two days, 72 people have signed up for the first season, The Sweater Weather Swap!

And look where everyone will be writing from:

I built this because the best part of journaling is sharing it, and nothing beats finding something handmade in your mailbox. Getting to create a little corner of the internet that turns into real, tangible happy mail for people means more to me than I can say. Thank you for trusting me with it 🫶

My club is called the Rootwork Mail Club and it’s a place for people who: love to read, love to learn information on botanical history, are curious to start their seed library or actually start growing herbs and plants at home, and who boldly choose to support human rights.

I started this club because I am tired of feeling so helpless to what’s going on with our food and the government. I think it’s important to cultivate skills and information that you can teach and barter with in your community.

Instead of mailing items once a month I mail once a week. (This will be a US based club for now as there are many laws and restrictions on mailing seeds.)

Envelopes come with:
1 signed miniature polaroid style print of my original artwork
1 laminated bookmark
1 seed packet
1 botanical info card that details when and how to take care of your seeds as well as some history/folklore on how it was used and it’s believed medicinal properties. This is a concept I haven’t seen yet. Really looking forward to you joining the club or at least sharing your thoughts on it with me. Thank you.

hello ! i just drop my new mail club in french (as im french). Its name is le Courrier de l'architecte, and its about history and architecture. This month, its the London tower and you can find a print of the london tower with its history on the back ; two cards of characters that are linked to the tower with their own story on the back, a mini calendar and two sticker of Henri VIII sword and a London stamp. for now, its french but would you be interested by buy it in english ? i have a good friend that i can pay for translate !! (AI is ban here !!)

I started my first month of mail club and 10 people signed up! which I'm so happy and grateful for. I sent out the mail last week. My mail club is only for members in the United States, So I'm sure everyone should have gotten their mail by now.

My question is why hasn't anyone shared it on their socials? Does this mean they didn't get it? Or that they didn't like it? I see other mail clubs where people share what they received kind of like an unboxing but so far nothing. It's making me kinda anxious. The only person I know of that got their mail was my best friend because she signed up to support and she doesn't post on socials.

Is this normal and am I overthinking it?

I'm so happy with how my prints turned out for November's edition! I love everything pumpkin but apples were really inspiring me!

Month 2 of my mailclub is out and I’m at the phase of taking pictures for the mystery mail club- and I’m struggling to show how cool I think everything is. Maybe that is just a me thing- like I think it’s cool, so I want the photos to reflect that, and I want it to reach the right people.. Any advice?

Hey mail club gang! My 7 year old daughter and I just launched our "for kids by kids" mail club! Garden friends mail club features 1 new garden friend a month, created by my daughter. Each month includes an info sheet explaining ways this character supports a healthy body, their cultivation history, and other info. As well as a trading card, recipe card, and other fun items! We are sending out our first issue next month. If you know of anyone who is a picky eater in general (this product is aimed at encouraging people to eat more plants/nutrition) or a kiddo who would enjoy receiving a new garden friend each month please share our mail club 😄 I'm not sure how to advertise for this other than my socials, and I'd love for this first month to really take off.
