I attached a photo of my current LOTR tattoo, got it back in March of 2025. It’s the Sword of Elendil :) I need advice on other LOTR tattoos I can get and / or how I can add onto my current one! I’m only interested in line-work ideas as I have a low pain tolerance so all of my tattoos are just line-work :( Thank you!!

Got this yesterday and I am OBSESSED. By @stefanistipple

Working on my lotr leg sleeves and got this lil piece done right under the knee cap last night. One of my favorite reminders from a timeless tale. May you never bend your knee to those unworthy.

Here’s one I did from a few years ago- enjoy!

Im thinking about getting a tattoo of a tengwar monogram with my initials “REGM” can anybody help me create it? It would mean the world to me

Just wanted to show my finished “Shelob” tattoo. I made wrap so that the writing is under and what shows on the outside of my arm is a typo that looks like spider legs.

Got this done last night and I'm in love. May eventually add more around it but kept it budget friendly for now. 🤭

I'm wanting to get some LOTR tattoos of different monsters/humanoids, send me your suggestions! The more realistic or eye-popping the better! TYIA!

This is for the Portland, OR area, but I'm wanting to get some monsters/humanoid tattoos done. The more realistic the better! TYIA

I had posted this the other day in the /lotr sub and then realized it was attached to a year-old post, so giving it another go:

Let me preface this with my career: I'm a hospice nurse. Folks typically come to my facility directly from the hospital and many, if not most, are at the end of brutal, long fights.

I have had Theoden's last words stuck in my head recently and was trying to come up with ideas for a tattoo idea. I was thinking on my forearm (none of my other tattoos are typically visible at work.)

I had thought maybe the "I go to my fathers, in whose mighty company I shall not now be ashamed" with a simbelmynë or something. Would it add anything to have it maybe wrapped as a banner around Theoden's sword?

I'm no Tolkien scholar, but would the words themselves look better in regular old English or would something like Old English (Ic gæþ to minum fæderum, on þæra mihtigum gegyldan ic ne sceall nu sceamian.) is in the neighborhood of a couple of different on-line translators present it as. Would Elvish script look more dramatic?
