SEASON 6 Lost Finale

I just finished rewatching Lost for the first time and oml I forgot how incredible the show is. Just the way the show weaves misery/despair with hope/optimism I think is done incredibly well.

Anyways, idk what the common consensus is about the ending of Lost, but I really enjoyed it. I thought it was beautiful how this show can get pretty dark at times but the ending is just so wholesome and feel-good.

I first watched the show when I was like 10 or something and this wasn’t when it was first airing. I don’t really remember how I felt about the show when I first watched it and I think I mostly remember being confused :/ but as I was rewatching it, all the subtle foreshadowing they would brought back a lot of memories of the show. I think the way the story is written is done extremely well and I have nothing but good things to say about Lost thanks to recency bias. I just wish there were more show left…

I know the ending was controversial. I was willing to go wherever the writers took me. But on subsequent rewatches, and there have been many, 2-3 times per year, I love the ending more every time. Love love love it.

Make sure to watch the Epilogue, The New Man in Charge! I believe it’s on YouTube.
