There's literally no way that James felt that presence against Gap. Any first gen king would have gotten overwhelmed by that pressure alone and yet he was struggling against Seongji Yuk. If james seriously went against Gap even in a 1v2 , he should be able to one shot Seongji. I know that James was dominating that fight against Seongji , but that doesn't prove anything. Just one punch from Gap and James lee would have died right there according to his feats against Seongji.

So in future , ptj will have to show that fight where gap wasn't able to land a single hit to james lee. Which I find absurd.

Kitae fans really are out here acting like he's untouchable.

His fans say he's a pinnacle right when his biggest claim to fame is being someone's better copy. Imagine building your whole identity round (I'm the one that didn't flop) That ain't a flex mate that's a disclaimer.

His fans say but Kitae's got no weaknesses perfect genetics blah blah blah blah. Cor lovely so did loads of first try characters in this series who still got stomped the second the plot needed a villain to look hard for five minutes. Perfect genetics ain't worth a carrot if your screen time is just standing there looking menacing while someone else does the actual fighting.

His fans say he's got TUI pure bollocks and Custom UI maybe even Custom TUI. Oi he wasn't even born with Congenital UI and every one of those claims is pure headcanon with zero confirmation anywhere in canon.

He's the Kingslayer when he ain't killed a single king in the whole bloody manhwa. That nickname's carrying harder than the bloke himself.

His fans used to reckon he was the final villain and all. Update your tier list mate that flex expired a few chapter ago.

And don't get me started on the "Gun's a failed version kitae's the real deal copium. Gun's got decades of proper screen time real fight, real narrative weight. Kitae's whole CV right now is exists looks cool in one panel and only wins when the other blokes already knackered and half dead. That ain't a power level that's a Pinterest board with a kill streak against hospital patients.

Even James Lee's got more talent than Kitae and they're still equals. Exactly which means Kitae's whole hype is riding on being compared nicely to someone else not on his own feats. Lad ain't earned a single standalone accomplishment yet and you lot are already measuring him against the top dogs like it's all settled. Ain't having it.

A lot of people, including good powerscalers often make this mistake while powerscaling characters.

There are so many statements in Lookism which do not make sense but powerscalers use them to win against their opponents, and surprisingly they do well against normal people due to their debating skills. But being a better debater doesn't mean an honest debater.

For an instance, people often say that Paecheon is equal to Shingen. I am not challenging anyone here and you guys might have different opinions, but for normal viewers, it sounds very absurd. Imagine talking to your friend and saying that Paecheon ~ Shingen, they will find your scaling very vague but you might defeat them in a debate.

Paecheon being equal to Shingen isn't supported anymore, especially after Gapryong Kim arc. Even narratives don't support this. People put Jaegyeon Na above Kitae using these absurd statements.

They mistake it as an Authorial Intentionalism.

But it's not enough to make authorial intents = actual scaling. We all are very well aware of the fact that Lookism uses exaggerated statements to aura farm or uplift a character. Like James glazed Jaegyeon, only to get him no diffed against James.

Please stop falling for this trap. Scaling from statements is okay but only using statements or overriding feats & narratives just for statements itself is very contradictory. If you find something which other people find absurd, you need to elaborate it with proper proof rather than just teasing others.
