Lojban basics explained.

Post image

Hey everyone, I've been wondering how hard it is for Lojban beginners to grasp abstractors like 'nu', 'ka', etc. I'm thinking about making a post with a simple, clear explanation. If you guys are interested, I’ll explain most of the abstractors in my next post.

Interesting, I have been reading about the topic from "The Incomplete Lojban Language". Yes, I would be interested to read your perspective.

I think that more specific cmavo are harder to use and it easier to use su'u and nu than ka and du'u. Mostly this is because people start splitting hairs on the type of abstraction required by a bridi.

mi djuno le du'u le nu mo Versus mi djuno le nu mo versus mi djuno le su'u mo

The first is type correct. The second seems like a type error. And the third is when you give up.
