a friend of mine spent a lot of time years ago tweaking lbp on rpcs3. he just told me he’s taking a break from his tech job and finally wants to bring lbp1 back properly, as a standalone modern version with better platform compatibility, not just another emulator setup or rough pc port. he’s hoping to have something ready around christmas

not trying to overhype anything, he’s busy with his own company so no promises. just figured some of you would be interested

i know theres skepticism around ai assisted projects. he is using ai, but hes been a developer for about 20 years with a good background, so i trust he knows what hes doing. hes wanted to do this for a long time and is now pulling together a lot of his older work on it

heads up, he wont be doing any community management for it. the idea is that he provides the platform to play and the community builds on top of it, also without cheating people...

hello!! i grew up playing little big planet 2 (2011-2015) and i made so many friends on there during some of the most formative years of my life.

I made a really good friend named QuietKing8. he was an amazing level designer as well and i think he was semi-well known for it? above all he was a great friend to me and i've been thinking lately about how nice it would be to reconnect as an adult. my ps3 username was poison_ivy234 if that helps!

LBP: The Temples, hard but very forgettable

LBP2: Avalonia, idk man, just felt way too boring, the only thing it did was showing off the controllinator, and also a double feature, The Cosmos, you already know why...

LBP3: Ziggurat, similar to LBP1, it was just kinda forgettable, the only level i seem to remember is Go Loco

Recently, i saw this player named ISAACRONIN importing mods from tasryse and some others to the LBPO server. so, i was very excited about this bcuz i have some modded stuff, but as i can see, there is only methods for rpcs3 and ps3, but not for the ps4 version of the third game. Anyone knows a method to do this, or its only in rpcs3 and ps3? Thank you.

i remember playing a level in which there were these giant stone statues. i can vividly remember one of the statues was of a player sensor with glowing "eyes". there may have been other statues of other things as well. i also remember that there was a boat that you would ride in the level.

i was super young at the time and either didn't care to read the title of the level, or didn't know how to read at all. can someone tell me the name of the level? it looked interesting and i want to play it again to make sure it wasn't some fake memory

LBP1 doesn't get enough love, so to celebrate its birthday month, I'm highlighting one level a day. This level is by the creative genius, elvenbane. This playthrough shows how to get all the hidden secrets, but I recommend playing it yourself for the best experience. My favorite part of this level was catapulting the acorn because of the chipmunk's reactions.

LBP: it's DEFINITELY the Unlethalise tool, like bro, JUST DOUBLE TAP THE MATERIAL AND IT WILL UNLETHALISE ITSELF

LBP2: Wave Generator, if you used it​​, you're a psychopath and i don't trust you

LBP3: it's the Interactive Live Stream Sensor, no your not tripping, it's an actual tool in lbp3 and yes i had to look it up too, you're straight up lying if your saying that you used these​

I just recently got my vita fixed, so naturally I wanted to play some good ol LBP VITA. Specifically I wanted to create a series of sonic themed levels but then I realized, I don't know how to use the music sequencer. Would anybody be willing to help me learn how to create good sounding songs for my level?
