This means you can't enroll your own Machine Owner Key (MOK) to sign modules. Fedora's akmod won't work for this.

I wonder how can we install nvidia drivers now, which is built against the kernel source, and we cannot sign it with a "trusted" singing key for secure boot.

Maybe rpmfusion will add signed modules. Or people interested in this will have to wait until NOVA becomes usable.

If the distro signs it it'll work. Ubuntu and Opensuse both compile and sign it with the exact same key they use for the kernel itself.

Well, Valve did say Nvidia drivers are coming to SteamOS in 2027, so that probably means we won't have to sign them anymore.

Yet fedora is listed there. I also wonder how it's all going to work

You won't be able to install a self compiled Nvidia driver. In-tree drivers like AMD and Intel will work. And eventually Nova will become the official Nvidia driver and will simply work, too.
