3 million does not equal 11 million. That’s an impressive number that Fortnite still has but there’s still 11 million users on Steam that math does not math.
I think you both just googled the numbers and took the first result without knowing anything about their accuracy. These numbers are not publicly reported and there is no reliable way to estimate them.
A more trustworthy metric would be revenue. Fortnite earned 5-6 billion dollars in 2025 and Steam earned 15-20 billion, so Steam is 3-4 times bigger than Fortnite.
Obviously these numbers don't line up with your player counts which likely means that they're inaccurate or at least inflated in some way.
"Yes, let's take five games, three of which are objectively made by the store front in question and then lump in two other top games made by other developers to say that together, they beat X"
By this metric, Fortnite + Zenless Zone Zero + Arc Raiders + Marathon also beats Roblox but do you see how ridiculous that sounds?
Fortnite is a free game, Steam is a marketplace. Of course steam makes more revenue
Which makes the figure even more impressive! Fortnite, being a single game, earning 1/4 of the entirety of the marketplace is very much non-trivial. Yes there is something to be said about the multiple platforms Fortnite is on; but even still.
No that would not be a trustworthy metric cause not many people are spending hundreds of dollars on fortnite vbucks but they WOULD spend so much money on steam games
Are you stupid or something? I understand you’re talking about monthly numbers and I’ve decided it doesn’t make a difference to me if you don’t back them up with sources.
Concurrently right now there are 3.6 million Fortnite users and 10.7 million steam users. If I extrapolate that it’s still a 1:3ish ratio of concurrent users. I could add in an infinite number or variables it doesn’t change that right now in the moment there’s a 1:3ish split in active users on platforms.
What month are we talking about? Did epic publish the report or a reliable 3rd party? There’s so many things that if you don’t provide a sources it’s like saying “I rule England and am also a dog”. I have no choice but to either believe you or not believe you. And without sources as far as I know you’re a shill for epic trying to make it look more popular than it is.

I can’t believe Fortnite is still relevant
