By far the biggest set I’ve bought to date. This was always one of my favorite sequences in the OT and had to grab it before it retired.

Finally got the holy grail of Lego starwars. Childhood dream come true. Millennium Falcon

Noticed a section towards the front of the new Executor that could be easily removed with a roughly 2x8 sized void underneath it. Remembered the easter egg from the previous set and thought "okay, this will definitely work" and turns out that it worked indeed!

Not a huge fan of star wars lego shows but I'm watching LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian on Disney+ and they have all the voices. And it's one way to catch up on the series before watching the M&G movie.

I traded two sets and paid only about 350 cash for this brand new sealed off l(opened it to make sure was legit) Facebook market, I know a lot of people hate on this set, but I have loved and wanted it since I first saw it! perfect representation for the original trilogy in Lego form and huge bonus that it actually fits on my Billy bookcase!!

I was thinking of wall mounting my UCS Venator once I'm done building it.

Saw some people here saying the 3Dcustom wall mount on Etsy works well.

Simple question though, should I fix the standard Lego stand on the Venator while I build it (to make it easier/ more stable while I build) or just skip that part entirely ?

Is it even possible to take off the lego stands easily once the Venator is fully built ?

sometimes I wish lego (and lego fans) would embrace the fact that it is a different medium, and not care so much about screen accuracy. Sometimes characters are tweaked slightly to have a great silhouette or color scheme when translated from live action to cartoon (ex. Bossk in star wars rebels/clone wars being green rather than the muddy brownish color in the film), and I think lego could benefit from the same. Sometimes brighter colors are simply more fun to look at visually, and I think certainly more fun for children to play with.

What are y'alls opinions?

this is going to take awhile, but will be worth it. if you guys have any tips to speed up the process feel free to share them.

i have some smaller old lego star wars builds that i completed but most of my collection as a whole is incomplete… i dont have much time to sort, but i feel its a disservice to the sets to be in this condition.

Picked up 10 Death Trooper and Night Trooper Battle Packs and created this little setup on an old black 32x16 baseplate i already had in my collection.

Showed out of stock on Scheels website, but called and they told me they have one more. Also said a store in Texas has four left, but that’s all- company wide.

Jabba’s palace is 100%. I am still looking for the black claw for Malakili’s staff.
Our kids got this new for Christmas in 2014, it’s been sitting in pieces in random tubs for the past 10 years with about 50 other lego sets.
Up next will be the Jabba’s Barge, Desert Skiff and Sarlacc Pit.

Got the new Jawa from the Luke Landspeeder a while back and decided to make a simple little build for him.

The angry Jawa defends his precious meiloorun melons and jogan fruits against pesky womprats.

I really wish Lego would make more small sets like this, as they used to do. Having to buy a overpriced Smartplay set to get simple figures like a Jawa is crazy.

Almost there, starting in on bag(s) 17. This really has been a fun build, looking forward to starting on the Death Star.
