hello!! I (19 years old) am Lebanese but have basically lived in the USA my whole life. Despite being first generation, my parents didn’t really teach me Arabic growing up.
Now, I can understand most of it (mostly the Levantine dialects) but I struggle a lot with speaking.
I am not sure if this would the right subreddit, but I’m looking for people relatively close to my age who would like to practice with me, especially through speaking and just friends in general for if I go back to visit

Hey everyone...
I'm an indie developer working on PogoPocalypse: Canine Clash and I'm looking for feedback on the Arabic translations in my game.
I don't speak Arabic myself so I'd love to get some input from native Arabic speakers to make sure the translations are correct, natural and easy to understand.
I've included a few screenshots showing the Arabic text in the game. If you spot anything that sounds strange, incorrect or could be phrased better, I'd really appreciate your suggestions!
The UAE flag is currently used for the Arabic language option in my game's settingsso I'm also curious to hear your thoughts on whether the translations work well for Arabic-speaking players in general.
Thanks for helping this poor indie dev improve their game...

After two intensive years of learning Fusha, I took a year off. My reading and listening comprehension are still pretty good, but my speaking has gotten rusty. I hesitate a lot and often translate from French in my head.
Living in the West makes it hard to stay consistent when there's no Arabic around you. My goal is to understand the Quran and follow religious classes, so I want to rebuild my daily habit.
For those who've maintained Fusha for years outside Arabic-speaking countries, what does your daily 30-minute routine look like? How do you stay consistent when motivation is low?
I've also know apps like Takalam: Learn Arabic really useful for understanding Arabic and getting my daily dose of practice through stories, interactive vocabulary and flashcards. Have any of you tried it?

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
My name is Mustafa. I'm an Egyptian Qur’an teacher with an Al-Azhar background and an Ijazah in Qur’an recitation, with 4 years of teaching experience.
I offer online one-to-one lessons for children and adults, including students growing up in non-Arabic-speaking environments.
My lessons include:
\- Qur’an reading and recitation
\- Tajweed rules and practical application
\- Qur’an memorisation and revision
\- Tajweed texts (Mutun), including Tuhfat al-Atfal
\- Arabic for non-native speakers
I teach in both English and Arabic, and I adapt lessons to each student's age, level, and learning goals. My aim is to help students build confidence in their recitation and develop a stronger connection with the Qur’an.
I'm currently accepting new students and offer a free trial lesson so we can discuss your child's or your own learning needs.
If you're looking for a Qur’an teacher for your family, or know someone who is, feel free to send me a message or share this post. I'd really appreciate your support.
May Allah bless our children with the love of the Qur’an and make it a source of guidance and light in their lives. Ameen.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan!

Hi ya جماعة
I'm really excited to announce that I opened the doors for the beginners course which will be live with me across 2 months with other like-minded learners in a supporting group where I'll help you to learn the dialect and be able to speak it from your first month. If you're serious enough and wants to set a non-negotiable time to learn it then this is your chance.
All the details in the link, if you're into it don't miss this opportunity. It's my first time I make it live and not sure if I'll do it again or not.
If you have any questions or just wonder about something then go ahead and ask I'll answer it all.
Yalla don't wait too much, make a decision and let's go on. 😃

Hi everyone!
I am looking for someone I could practice my spoken and written Arabic with. I am learning sort of a mix between MSA and Levantine, and some Gulf expressions as well, so really any background would be great. This is just for conversation and fun, because I love languages.
I am Mexican, so if anyone would like to do a language exchange, I am also down for that.
Thank you!!!
