Discussion [Worlds 2026] Interview after every match is so stupid.

Literally title, why this is allowed? This is NA thing or something? Players should have on their mind next game, not what to tell in stupid interview.

Interview should be like always, after series, not every match.

Gameplay Yunara face tanks 4 people in melee range and wins (with help from me on Yuumi)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This took place in a ~646 LP EUW Master game. For added context, Yunara by this point was 6/2/3 with 181 CS. Darius is 3 items, Qiyana is 2 items, and Ezreal is 1 item.

I counted the amount of healing frame by frame and Yunara healed at least 1,688 HP throughout the course of this fight, almost as much as her full HP bar which was 1,823 HP. Her HP dropped down to a low of 599 HP. 1 second later she's back up to 940 HP, and only half a second later she's already back up to 1324 HP, despite all 4 people still being alive and having been focusing her up until that moment (Qiyana and Zilean then start running).

The different sources of healing she received included, but were not necessarily limited to, Summoner Heal (~278 HP), Mikael's Blessing (~202 HP), Yuumi ult (seems to be ~150 HP per wave? Can't really tell), Yuumi passive, Yuumi's Font of Life, Yuumi's W passive, Legend: Bloodline (fully stacked, so 6.75% lifesteal), Gluttonous Greaves starting at 7 stacks (8.2% omnivamp), Doran's Bow's 1.5% omnivamp, and Triumph (healed 285 HP).

After Yunara had her stun cleansed by Mikael's, besides Yuumi ult (+ potentially Aery and Dream Maker) she was the only person dealing any damage to the enemies for a full 3 seconds since Jayce was first stunned by Qiyana ult then Zilean double Q. At the moment her stun was cleansed, Ezreal had 1300 HP, Zilean had 1100 HP, Qiyana had 1700 HP, and Darius had 2600 HP. By the time Jayce finally gets unstunned and hits a champion 3 seconds later, only Darius remains with ~1000 HP, meaning Yunara dealt approximately ~5700 damage in 3 seconds. If she received full healing from all of her damage she would have lifestole around ~937 HP total, but since some of it was ability damage so didn't benefit from lifesteal, and some of it may have counted as AoE so only had 1/3rd effectiveness, it's probably a safer bet to assume she lifestole somewhere between 500-800 HP, not counting Yuumi's W passive.

I also counted the total damage blocked by shields and it seemed to amount to ~783. Yunara's Barrier was up to shielding 333 damage by level 12, Yuumi E + Yuumi ult shield seemed to amount to ~459 damage blocked (some of that included Aery) Aery claims 211 damage blocked, and Dream Maker claims 46 damage blocked. If you add up the total amount of shielding and healing, Yunara seemed to be working with an added HP pool of around ~2,471, on top of her actual 1,823 HP. In order to kill Yunara within this clip as it played out, the enemy team would have needed to deal a total of 4,294 damage to her!

Some more fun facts!

Yunara started the clip with Grievous Wounds applied to her from Zilean's Oblivion Orb, their only source of anti-heal, which procced from his Aery on the one auto-attack he landed on her before going into passive. This likely denied some healing from Yuumi ult (it claims ~257 healing denied, but I think some of this is counting healing "denied" while Yunara was already full HP, so I'm not sure it actually did deny that much), but unfortunately it got cleansed by Mikael's right as it was about to time out anyway, and therefore did nothing for the barrage of healing that commenced thereafter. With his Aery on CD, he would have needed to hit Yunara with his double bomb to reapply it but he went for Jayce instead, while Yunara was just barely out of range for the explosion (the stun alone also probably would have meant that Yunara died very quickly anyway, with no ability to self-heal with her lifesteal). Had Grievous Wounds been at play, this clip may not have played out so favourably for us.

Ardent Censer claims ~499 damage dealt in this clip, and this seems to be post-mitigation as far as I can tell, so it's likely not even inflated by pre-mitigation numbers.

Yunara's Lethal Tempo dealt 275 on-hit damage in this clip. It had done 701 on-hit damage up until then.

Yunara's Coup de Grace did 532 damage. It had done 931 damage in the whole game up until then.

By the way, I don't have a point in posting this. I have no qualms with the state of healing/shielding in the game, or Yuumi or Yunara or anything like that.

There was a lot that had to go right for us (namely Yunara only getting hit by 1 hard CC which was insta cleansed + no one applying Grievous Wounds, as well as 2 insanely healing champs being paired together to survive long enough for this to happen) so I don't think it's insanely unbalanced. I just think this was one of the craziest moments I've ever experienced in-game and wanted to share it!

Educational I'm just so tired and overwhelmed trying to play.

Every time I try to play, it's just endless toxicity, and I'm completely overwhelmed with information. My friends have been trying to help me, but they essentially grill me for an hour straight over every little thing I did wrong to the point I just leave the call most times.

It feels like when I'm finally getting something, I get thrown another curveball, and suddenly I don't understand anything again. And it doesn't help when people are screaming in your ear that you need to learn macro and when to gank (I play J4 jungle since no one else will) and the "overall picture" when I'm still trying to figure out what heroes do what and just general things, while also telling me that I "just don't know" and I "need to worry about this and this first before this".

It's completely exhausting and overwhelming, to the point that I'm thinking about deleting the game and never coming back.

Classic Lol Classic was a fun experiment, but that's all it should have been

It was clearly never going to be able to stand a lone as its own game mode. Because the demand for it was clearly missing. Could still be cool as a returning mode imo.

What I do appreciate about its existance was the experimentation. I really liked the "Council Voting" system where Riot asks players how they feel about the games Items, Length, Features, ect... I also feel like playing this mode makes you appreciate modern league a lot more. Drake Soul, Baron Buff, Item Removals, Adjustments, champ overhauls, ect... I wonder if riot devs who weren't part of the original team have learn something about balance decisions too.

I'm often asking myself:

Why isnt there a tower buff mechanic

Why isnt there a mionion buff item

Why dont we have mana regeneration pots

W£hy cant we buy regular wards for gold

The answer to all these are, Riot tried this 10 years a go and it was fucking awful for the game. Hard to understand & appreicate this as a modern player I think.

Discussion Tempered Expectations For Next Year

This has arguably been one of the worst years for Riot; 2XKO bombing out, TFT update massively failing the playerbase and things like Champions Valorant being an abysmal production with literal game changing tech pauses. and now the announcement that they’re sunsetting League Classic.

I feel like no matter what happens next year because Riot has stopped making grandiose gestures to their fan base I refuse to believe that whatever’s promised next year won’t be the same disappointment. Riot just isn’t capable of “going big” anymore. Theyre going to hype up mediocre half baked concepts and we’ll sadly eat it up while this game continues to coast. Valorant is no different, i would argue Valorants even worse off but thats a different story. Next year should have been something akin to league 2 and some people are speculating thats whats coming I think we’re going to be sorely disappointed.

I’d love to be wrong and maybe you guys see this differently than me, feel free to tell me I’m wrong.

Discussion Why do we keep getting temporary game modes instead of permanent ones?

I feel like League has had some genuinely fun alternative modes over the years, but most of them disappear before people even get tired of them.

I get that maintaining multiple modes takes work, especially when every new champion and balance change can break something, but it still feels weird that a game this old doesn't have more permanent ways to play.

Sometimes I just don't feel like grinding ranked or playing the same Summoner's Rift matches over and over. I want something different without having to wait for a limited-time event and hope the mode I liked comes back.

Even if a mode had longer queue times or wasn't perfectly balanced, I'd rather have the option than see it disappear completely.

Am I in the minority here, or would you actually play permanent rotating modes if Riot kept them available?

Discussion With the arrival of League Next, are you hopeful about revamping the points system and increasing the number of new players?

Hello, I’m a player on the Brazilian server (for those curious, my rank fluctuates between Diamond and Master). I’d like to know: what’s the situation like regarding the influx of new players in your region?

Honestly, I’m quite excited about the arrival of "League Next." I truly hope they overhaul the LP (League Points) gain and loss system; in my view, basing point gains or losses solely on a win or a loss doesn’t make sense in a team based game. I believe other methods should be considered and we all know Riot is more than capable of developing a calculation that would make ranked matches much healthier.

Furthermore, I’m curious about the renewal of the player base in your region. Around here, I’ve noticed an overall decline both in the number of active players and in viewership for official esports leagues. It feels as though *League* no longer offers enough value for the time people invest in it; increasingly, I see people choosing to spend their time playing or watching other things instead of League of Legends. This is even evident in the matchmaking system: four years ago, I would never have ended up in consecutive matches with the same players, but today, that seems to be the norm. There appears to be a significant exodus of players moving on to other titles.

Discussion Chempunk and Serylda are just so useless...

Why would anyone ever even build them when LDR and Mortal Reminder exist..? Both chempunk and serylda are low WPA items and no one ever really wants them. It feels extremely bad building them yet I don't see any actions taken in this regard. Do we really need to wait until the new season to finally see some actual system changes?

Serylda needs to lose its useless passive and get back its lethality.

Chempunk is a weird item I really don't see why anyone would ever really build it... It genuinely feels like the worst item in the whole game..? What do you guys think about it? What kind of changes does it need to compete with mortal reminder?

Classic what did people actually want from Classic? to me, it was an absolute success"!

i'm one of the ones that wanted classic for years. when it dropped, i didn't touch retail league for a whole month. if the queues were faster, i would probably never have touched retail league again.

i just wanted to play my OG elder lizard blue ezreal. that's all i wanted. if i got to play Quinn & VALOR, old adc Graves and urgot ADC, that's all be a cherry on top. Urgot never dropped, but 3 out of 4 aint bad.

would i have liked it to have its own client and its own player base? sure. however, i played all i wanted out of old league and now i'm perfectly fine with it rotating in and out as temporary game mode. the mode did what it came to do and now its going out. what more did people want from it?

Gameplay Help with Controller support, trying to play League again

I'm prone to tendonitis on my right hand. If I play a few games normally, it acts up for weeks or months. I just can't handle thousands of right clicks per game anymore. I'm a veteran that stopped playing LoL bcs of that issue.

Was looking at WASD recently, tried it but it's super unintuitive (no matter how I map the keys). Somehow that lead me to the WASD Controller support. I hooked up my controller and movement and mouse movement work perfectly fine! My issue is that the rest need to be bound. I did that, but I can't bind clicks. Like clicking the shop and its items, clicking spells to lvl up etc. There's are options to highlight and interact with things (where the auto-atack bind is) that is bound to the left click, but it doesn't work for shop and spells with controller buttons. I can do the level up spell trick for next used spell, but shop is still a big issue.

Any solution? I've seen the skin spotlight video where he uses select for clicks and no button mapping is needed, but my controller doesn't behave like that. I'm guessing that it got patched out and we have to manually map buttons now.

I'm using an 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless, behaves like an Xbox controller for all intents and purposes.

Requiring your assistance to be able to play a bit of League again!

Esports Why did ADC and support champs never been picked this much as duos in the past?

I haven't watched much competitive for maybe 3-4 years, but recently I got back into it again. The botlane is now almost always picked as a duo package. It's pretty itneresting, but it begs the question: why was this NOT the case for the 10+ years before? What exactly changed? What did I miss?

Discussion need opinions!

hi :) It's my first time here in reddit and in this subreddit!

I've been playing wild-rift since it first came out, and it's also my introduction to lol! but I took a pretty long break. I kind of recently started playing league on my laptop, so I'm still learning the basics and getting used to how everything works on pc... but I think I have been doing well so far since I just recently got my quadra kill with lux!

I made this post because I want to read thoughts or opinions on my decision to buy my very first skin! It might not be that special or sentimental to others, but it means something to me, and as a casual player, I still find so much fun in the game, and I think it's nice to have little things to look forward to, even if it's just getting a skin despite how competitive the game can be.

anyways! I've been thinking about buying elementalist lux for a few weeks now since she's my main, and I like how she has different forms in one skin, which I find so cool! but when the new heartsteel skins were released, some caught my eye, ezreal, aphelios, and especially sett, even though I only play them sometimes, I still find their playstyles really fun! recently, I also encountered "your shop" for the first time, and I surprisingly got a good (I think) lineup! (I got lunar empress lux and battle dove seraphine, which they are both 60% off, the rest were not really my liking.) I'm wondering if any of them are worth getting? especially since I have limited funds... I know lux is there, and I will definitely buy her by the end of the sale. I play seraphine too, since I think she's good as well, but with my limited funds, I'm torn on which skins to get...

I know this is a lot of yapping just over some skins, but this is actually a special purchase for me, so I wanted to read thoughts! I'd really appreciate any personal advice or recommendations, especially from those who've bought these skins themselves... so thank you so much for taking the time to read my post!!!

Discussion Why theres a different name between game and friend list?

Im +/- new to the game btw so sorry if this is supposed to be well known by everyone..

So basically i played a game and someone sent me a friend request , because im a lonely fcker i accepted. But as you cant see in the photos ( because i cant post them ) there isnt a single player with that same name in the last game a played. And no its not anyone form the previous games because i was afk ( banned ) a whole week.

Its not the first time it happens . But its the first time they wrote to me . So i guess it cant be a bot? Idk. I cant open their profile through the friend list. So i really dont know.

Can some1 explain this to me pls

Discussion Need a sanity check, is the secret to climbing SoloQ literally just lobotomizing your own brain?

I know nobody cares about low elo climbing stories and I’ll probably get flamed for this, but I feel like I just broke the matrix after six years of misery. Since season 8, I have been a sweaty, miserable hardstuck Silver player. I studied wave management guides, watched pro replays, tracked enemy flash timers, and tried to carry on high-mechanic champions like Lee Sin and Yasuo. Every season ended with me tilted off teh face of the earth, screaming at chat.

Three weeks ago I had a terrible day at work and decided I just didn’t have the energy to care anymore. I permanently disabled team chat and enemy chat. I turned off champion voices, put on a podcast, locked in Garen top, and literally just pushed waves and hit towers. Zero map awareness, no flashy plays, no typing, no contesting useless dragon fights when my lane was pushed.

i just promoted to Emerald 4 with a 67% win rate. I haven't pressed a difficult combo in three weeks. Is this game actually just an emotional endurance test where having a functioning brain is a disadvantage? I dont even feel proud, I just feel empty realizing I wasted six years trying to 'outplay' people when running at them with a giant sword with my chat turned off was the answer all along.

Gameplay How do I deal with ranged top?

I am not very good at this game and just got back into it after 3 years or so. I have resumed playing top lane and pretty quickly remember why I left. My first 10 games back I’ve faced 3 Darius, 2 Heimer, 3 Vaynes, a Smolder and a Caitlyn. I am Emerald 4 and get absolutely stomped for 20 minutes before getting a minor amount of breathing room outside of lane. Urgot is the champ that I play most and I would like to think that I have some degree of mastery over him. Despite this I am consistently down 20+ CS and feel like I am negatively impacting my team. I won’t continue to play the game if my following 20 games repeat what I endured in these first 10. If this is an issue of me being terrible at the game, I can quit when I’m down.

Esports WORLDS 2026 Pick'Ems Predictions

I ran 100,000 tournament simulations and compared every player and team's 2026 season form on Gol.gg to figure out the safest Worlds 2026 Play-In bracket before locks close.

The Optimal 6/6 Bracket (FUR → KC → KC → C9 → C9 → KC)

Your Odds with This Bracket:

  • Perfect 6/6 Score (35 pts): ~46%–47% (nearly 3x higher than picking FURIA over C9, which drops to ~16%)
  • At least 5/6 Correct: ~72% (26.5% for exact 5/6)
  • At least 4/6 Correct: ~81% (9.0% for exact 4/6)

Classic Since Classic is going to end we won't have any more daily/weekly missions?

• Upvotes

I need these missions in order to be able to reach Level 30 and get the Blitzkrank Skin.

I played some Classsic games and I am currently at Level 23. However, without the missions the grind is going to be almost impossible because I would need to do a lot of games to complete the Track...

Hi everybody,

Is there an official channel that cast a Clean Feed for the World ?

I'm okay subscribing to an official cast, I'd just love to enjoy the game without casters talking over.

Does that exists or is the clean feed only available for casters ?

Discussion Ranged Nerfs to Hubris Seem Unfair

I'm thinking I'm not the only ADC main feeling that the proposed nerf to Hubris for ranged is unfair. Both Miss Fortune and Jhin are sitting below 50% win rate the 2 primary users of Hubris. I also feel like I need to point out that Mejais has no penalty for ranged users and never has. Additionally the bot lane tier list is currently being absolutely dominated by mages who can all build Mejais. Why take away the only real snowball item ADCs have the proposed change will make Hubris worthless for ranged champs. I have no doubts that ADCs building Hubris have higher win rates but that would make sense since it's a item you generally build when snowballing. If your 0-5-0 and building it your trolling. Same kind of thing you see with Mejais you build it when snowballing so of course that item will have higher win rates.

This just feel like some balance team bronzie and his team stood in too many MF ullts and got mad cuz bad.

Instead I'd like to see some kind of proposed fix for the mage bot problem. Mages are outscaling most ADCs at 6 items due to how Death Cap works.

PS buffing Velkoz when he's already at 53% win rate in bot seems insane to me.

Source for Stats: https://u.gg/lol/tier-list
