Hardware Code 43
I was gaming on my laptop, a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15IMH05 81Y4 on W11 when i got a BSOD, checked temps on task manager and noticed that the discrete GPU, NVIDIA GTX 1650, was nowhere to be found, checked device manager and there it was, code 43. So far i've done the following:
- Uninstalled drivers with DDU on safe mode and installed latest NVIDIA drivers. Also tried older drivers which didn't fix the issue.
- Disabled and Re-enabled the GPU from device manager.
- Power drain.
I also switched to a clean installation of W10 and did the aforementioned, which didn't help. Also flashed the BIOS with the latest version (even though I already had it) which also did nothing.
I'm honestly lost here, my best guess is that the VBIOS corrupted due to overheating but I haven't been able to find my GPU's BIOS. GPU's ID is: 10DE 1F99 - 17AA 3FA2. GPU Z DOES recognize the NVIDIA GPU but it shows Unknown on many areas like the BIOS version or memory type. Talking about memory, GPU Z shows the memory size is 0MB. Also, the GPU's name does show up on things like msinfo32 or BIOS.
By the way, I did open up my laptop and when i checked the die (at least i think that's its name) there was some thermal paste on some pins around it, which makes me think that the GPU just died lol. Anyway, is there anything else i could try? Or should i just give up on it?

Gg. Some part of the GPU is dead, but not dead enough so it still report back. Not worth repairing tbh

Sounds like the GPU is probably dead. The only reason your still able to get a display is because of the integrated graphics on the CPU. Nothing you can really do about a dead GPU, unfortunately. I would repaste the CPU and GPU, and then you can either use it as a general purpose laptop (browsing internet, watching videos, etc), or sell it as a general purpose laptop (just make sure to disclose the dead GPU).
