Thinking of going to one this year, but the problem is I have absolutely no idea how to dance Dandiya lmao 😭
Also, which events are you guys planning to attend? What do you need to carry, and most importantly, have y'all sorted out your outfits yet or is it last minute shopping? 👀😂
If anyone's going solo, we could team up, and if you guys are already going in groups, mind letting me tag along? xD

I’ve spent much of my working life moving around places like Delhi and Mumbai. Now I’m thinking about slowing down, leaving Fort Kochi and settling somewhere along the Malabar coast — Kozhikode, Kannur , Malabar or the surrounding villages.
My ancestors belonged to Malabar, and our family migrated to Fort Kochi around my grandfather’s time. I’m looking for more than just a beautiful place to live. I want a sense of belonging, strong community relationships and that feeling of being part of the local brotherhood.
Ideally, I’d love to buy a large tract of land facing the sea, build a home and put down roots. I’m not particularly concerned about being near Tirur just because I have relatives there.
For those who know Malabar well, which village would you choose if you were starting a new life there? Somewhere with a beautiful coastline, a welcoming community, a genuine local culture and enough space to live peacefully.
Where would you settle, and why? I’d especially love suggestions from people who actually live in these villages, rather than tourist recommendations.
Also, if you know of coastal areas where plots are realistically available, please share them. I’m open to places beyond the usual popular destinations.

Hi everyone! I'm new to Kozhikode. I went to a local hardware store in Palazhi. I noticed the electrical items had no ISI/BIS hallmark on them.
Where would i be able to buy genuine ISI/BIS marked electronic items?
