Both men where born into wealthy aristocratic family with long lines dating back, the Mosley family dates back to the 12th century while the Visari family dated back to the days of the Helghan Corporation and later administration. Both men where apart of the mainstream upper-class and both men leveraged there social and family background to enter politics, along with their impressive oratory skills and charisma. With Visari just being more successful out of the two.

Here is a match from the online DLC match we played on 10/10/2026. If you are familiar will Killzone multiplayer, you likely know that Radec Academy is the most famous map. There is a version of it in Killzone 2, Killzone 3, and Shadow Fall. Actually, there are two versions in Shadow Fall; one for the regular multiplayer, and one for Intercept coop.

Hey all, yet another progress update and this might be the biggest one yet: Mercenary has been successfully recompiled to PC, which now allows to implement different graphic engines like the shadowfall one in this case (its not 1 to 1, obviously). What this means for the future of this project is that instead of adapting and demaking maps to fir the Mercenary engine now they can be fully ported. How it works in a nutshell: The mercenary engine handles the logic, collisions, weapons, gunplay, etc but theres a new render engine running alongside it, which is what makes the map, the lighting, effects...

The bad news: This means that going forward the Vita3k emulator will no longer be supported by this mod, so no android compatibility.

PS: The video plays at whatever framerate the ROG Ally software records, the actual game runs at 60fps on my machine up to whatever your pc can handle (I cant test beyond 120fps for obvious reasons)

I was wondering what you all thought if Killzone had an entry into the RTS genre of gaming.

What features would you like to see?

Or what style of RTS? Would you want there to be base building like Starcraft/ Command and Conquer? Or maybe like Warhammer 40k's Dawn of War 2 where you have normal units then swap those with hero units? Or maybe even an Army builder like Broken Arrow/ Warno?

I personally would like to see a Killzone RTS made in the base building vein of Starcraft/ Command and Conquer, mostly because I feel like it would offer the most flexibility for both the ISA and Helgast when it comes to units, you could even include unit upgrades, hero units, etc. I also think it would be great for expanding on units that we've briefly seen in the games like the fighter craft seen in Liberation as an example.

I've been wanting to mod an old game for a while, so I decided to put a Helghast soldier from Killzone Liberation into the original Resident Evil. Download the mod here

On Saturday, October 10th at 2:30 PM EDT there will be a Killzone 3 DLC Event. It is being organized by YouTubers "Just Killzone" and "Bitter Roman" and will be played on the PS Rewired server (DNS 67.222.156.250). You’ll need to have all 8 DLC maps installed, which were originally sold in three different packs: Retro Map Pack: Reclaimed Territory, Steel Rain Map Pack, and From the Ashes Map Pack.

We’ll be playing the Warzone maps first (Lente Missile Base, Radec Academy, Salamun Market, Stahl Arms) and if there is time we’ll move on to the Guerilla Warfare ones (Tharsis Depot, Blood Gracht, Junkyard, Mobile Factory).

(Note, during past DLC events, the chat on Discord is filled with people who are trying to get the maps installed at the last minute. My ability to help at that time is limited, so please, if you plan to play, do the map installation process well AHEAD of time. Note, the maps are no longer officially sold by Sony, so you'll have to "find" them some other way, and install them onto your PS3 or RPCS3 emulator. Do not underestimate how long that process can take.)

With all the talk about possible Killzone remakes, I've been thinking about what made this series stick with so many of us, especially Killzone 2, which still gets brought up years later as one of the most memorable shooters on PlayStation.

For me, it felt different from everything else at the time. But I'm curious what it was for you. Was it:

• The graphics and atmosphere? The lighting, the smoke, the grim look of Helghan, the Helghast with those glowing eyes.
• The gunplay and movement? That heavy, weighty feel that people either loved or had to get used to.
• The multiplayer? Warzone with its rotating objectives, the badge/class system, clans, and those chaotic 32-player matches.
• The online structure? Clan battles, tournaments, ranked progression, the community around it.
• The physics and sound design? Explosions, ragdolls, the sound of the guns.
• The story and the Helghast themselves? Radec, Visari, the whole ISA vs. Helghast conflict.

Or was it something else entirely: a specific map, a mission, a moment with friends you still remember?

And looking ahead: if remakes (or a new entry) do happen, what would you want to see? What absolutely has to stay the same, and what should finally be fixed or modernized? Which game would you want remade first?

Actually pretty fun way to play kz3 multiplayer, really comfortable if you can get settings right, sadly my router was having a stroke and in later matches I was disconnecting constantly and had huge ping. Cant go back to kz2 after such unique experience)

P.s for my fellow helghasts on ps3, 480p in 16:9 improves input lag and fps significantly, I do have a 50mhz overclock, but in HD I was thinking that input lag was INSANELY better on CRT and fps was too smooth, figured out that's not entirely true after changing settings (this one is OLED)

Note: I hope resistance 3 will be getting servers back some day for same sharpshooter support, but this mode is kinda ass in it.
