Killing Floor 1: Custom Text + Voice Binds

Hey everyone!

I'm a long-time Killing Floor 1 fan and I'm still playing KF1 after all these years. I made these custom binds mainly for fun, but some of them are also useful for communicating with the team without having to type.

They combine custom text messages, voice commands and game actions. Some are serious, some are completely stupid — that's the point. 😂

Here are my current binds:

What do they do?

F1–F12 — Scrake / Fleshpound / Patty

Fun enemy callouts with custom text and voice commands.

F1=Say < Husqvarna (Scrake) > | Speech AUTO 14   
F2=Say << Duracell (Fleshpound) >> | Speech AUTO 12

F4 — Player Status : Sends your current health, armor and weapon information to the team.

J — Goodbye cruel world : If you want to kill yourself ( no need to type in console: suicidal )

L — Loadsamoney : sends 1£

M — Support voice : Medic

N — Low Ammo

R — Reloading : Reloads your weapon while simultaneously telling the team what you're reloading.

(Haha Reloading knife 😂)

Backspace — Drop weapon : Throws your weapon, tells the team what you dropped and plays a voice command.

Trader voice binds (Troll)

The NumPad keys are dedicated to the Trader voice commands:

NumPad0=Speech TRADER 1
NumPad1=Speech TRADER 0
NumPad2=Speech TRADER 11
NumPad3=Speech TRADER 10
NumPad4=Speech TRADER 3
NumPad5=Speech TRADER 5
NumPad6=Speech TRADER 6
NumPad7=Speech TRADER 7
NumPad8=Speech TRADER 8
NumPad9=Speech TRADER 9

How to install:

1. Close Killing Floor 1.

2. Open your Killing Floor installation folder.

For the Steam version, the default location is:

Steam\steamapps\common\KillingFloor\

1. Open the System folder:

Steam\steamapps\common\KillingFloor\System\

1. Find:

User.ini

1. Make a backup copy of User.ini before making any changes.

2. Open User.ini with Notepad.

3. Find the existing key bindings and replace them with the binds you want to use, or add the new bindings if those keys are not already assigned.

4. Save User.ini.

5. Start Killing Floor 1.

6. Join a game and test the binds.

Important:

If a key already has another command assigned to it in User.ini, remove or replace the old binding. Do not have two different commands assigned to the same key.

KF1 is one of those games I keep coming back to, even after all these years.I made these binds for myself because I like messing around with the game's voice commands and finding funny ways to communicate with the team.I decided to share them here in case other long-time KF1 players might enjoy them too, or maybe use them as inspiration to create their own custom binds.If you have your own funny or useful KF1 binds, feel free to share them in the comments!
