I’m researching propulsion options for a fixed-wing UAV with these target specifications:

• MTOW: 44.9 kg
• Payload: 10 kg
• Cruise speed: over 230 km/h
• Target range: 100 km
• Engine: Pulsejet

For this application, which is better: a valved or valveless pulsejet, considering thrust-to-weight ratio, fuel consumption, compactness and easier to build ofc it's valveless but what type?

Flying my FUCK-15 around ksc before a recent launch. Last pic is me realizing I need a way better climb rate (the glowing speck is the rocket.) I’m going for a NASA f15, so I have to work on the coloring and stickers and such.

After some revision, I was able to build my first successful aircraft. Not exactly sure what led to success this time but it flies fairly well imo. I would appreciate feedback on what I can improve.

The speed will rise until plane vaporise. What to do to go faster without vaporisation?

Essentially
The b-1 and eagle were flying 20km from base
The Flankers took off 10-15 min after the bomber and eagle and set up a clear orbit roughly 20 km away from the base while the flankers initially just flew around base protecting it
After a while the lead flanker veered left and took off towards the strike package and the second flanker followed suit
After mainting orbits around 5km apart and neither side backing down the flankers made a sharp turn and fired 2 aim-120 from each flanker to the b1
The bomber being fully loaded with nuclear payload couldn’t evade such a sharp turn and attack and thus went down immediately
Then the f-15 was chased into a close quarters dogfight and shot down
All of this in 4-5 minutes and then the flankers returned back to base after a successful intercept

BDarmoury is GOATED for the dogfight that ensued

Mini, infinite range. 140 m/s, simple throttled prop. Trimmed.

Hey! Been some time since my last entry, so here's the F-80C Shooting Star. This is the first of my replicas to utilize Vertex Based Procedural Parts, a mod that adds extremely customizeable fuselage parts. Its kind of hard to get the hang of, but once you do its pretty intuitive. Im having some weird glitches with PWings at the moment which is why the wings are completely white in most pictures, but I made it work anyway. Might have to reload all my mods on a clean slate. Anyway, enjoy!
