Weekly Post Thursday Therapy - [2025/11/20]
Thursday Therapy, is r/kdramarecommends’ weekly community chat. A place in which Korean drama addicts both recent and those moving towards recovery can freely discuss anything and everything!
You may want to:
- Introduce yourself
or remain anonymous(share your My Drama List page or similar) - Share what you’ve been watching and whether you love or hate it (it doesn’t have to be a Korean drama)
- Ask for recommendations unrelated to Korean dramas (books, movies, podcasts, other country’s television series, etc)
- Share a great recommendation thread you found whilst digging through the archives
- Talk about what is coming out on [insert drama service name]
- Give thanks to the community for helping you find your new favourite drama
Please remember to use spoiler tags when discussing major plot points or anything you think should be redacted. If you are unsure of how to use spoiler tags here is r/KDRAMA’s easy to follow guide.

There's no revenge until the very last episodes. And yes there's gonna be more crying.

So I’m watching Dynamite Kiss, and while I wait for episodes each week, I’m watching Crazy Love. And I swear the office space of both SFLs (Baek Soo Young in Crazy Love and Yoo Ha Yeong in Dynamite Kiss) in these dramas is the exact same?

Currently watching My Liberation Notes. After Hometown Cha Cha Cha, it took me 2 months to hop on to another. I feel like every new k-drama I watch has something that breaks me

I feel like its been two years since I’ve had this many good kdramas at the same time.
Weds - Spirit Fingers (Viki) Weds/Thurs - Dynamite Kiss (Netflix) Thurs - Dear X (Viki) Thurs - Moon Rivers (Viki) - my least favorite but it’s okay and enough to kill time
In the meantime, I also watched Genie Make a Wish to kill time and am in the middle of Bon Apetit.
Man I really remember when there was a dry spell of kdramas and only like a few good ones per year here and there. Now I feel grateful but also worried that I’ll get addicted.
My favorite ones right now are Spirit Fingers for the humor, Dynamite Kiss for a rom com, and Dear X just bc it’s thought provoking and the acting is so good

I’m currently watching Uncontrollably Fond and I’m hoping it will tear at my soul. Then, to deepen the hole in my heart even further, I’m going to watch Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, which will probably leave an aching wound on my soul forever. I wonder if I could push it even further?

Help! I'm on episode 11 of Dinner Mate and I'm getting so irritated with the frustrating ex's. This show has 32 episodes, please tell me they don't drag this out for another dozen episodes and it's worth my while.

Currently watching Jinxed At First, Dear X, Monthly Home Magazine. Amazing FL's in all of these. Dear X is the only one that I think has high potential to be a favorite at this point.
Jinxed at First had a cute start but I feel like the story is lacking context for some of what's going on mid-series. Hoping they finish well.
I would completely drop Monthly Home Magazine if it weren't for Jung So-Min. Annoying characters, unbelievable romance between the leads, and now a typical and unnecessary mid-series breakup. I only keep watching to see Jung So-Min.
Dear X is a wild ride and I'm enjoying it. Quite a different character for Kim Yoo-Jung.

I am watching Dynamite Kiss & Moon River, and while I wait for it, what should I watch? It should have comedy listed in the genres.

I just finished The Red Sleeve. 🥺 Has that Scarlet Ryeo vibe for sure. I definitely enjoyed it. I’m on to Legends of the Blue Sea. In 10 episodes and it’s healed my Red Sleeve heartbreak.
