Thank you lot for getting involved with the top 5 I posted yesterday ! Great to see everyone's preferences, certainly lots of variety.

Now whatever you do today look after yourself and listen to some Judas Priest ! OH YEAHHH 🤘

It's so hard to condense everything I love about Priest into 5 songs but here we go. This is very specifically AT THE MOMENT as it changes every week lol:

1) Night Comes Down - WHEEEEEEEN THE NIGHT COMES DOWN, cmon.

2) Run Of The Mill - One of the best songs I've ever heard about life. So young as well !

3) The Sentinel - No explanation needed. Coolest song ever.

4) Panic Attack - The spiritual successor to Painkiller.

5) A Touch Of Evil - SENSE OF DESIYAAAAAAA. Screech it loud metal god 🤘

Honourable Mention: Crucible By Halford. That song goes so fkin hard 🤘

Let's hear yours Metal Maniacs !! 🤘🤘

My guess Betwen the Hammer and the anvile

Some time ago I discovered this band with Screaming For Vengeance and later tried Sad Wings of Destiny, Defenders of Faith and Angel of Retribution.

All good stuff, but this specific song blew me away.

Maybe it's because as a kid I had a phase where I loved the Lochness monster, but something about the song is special.

It has a melody that sounds ancient, powerful, a bit menacing yet soothing. Despite being 13 minutes long, it's not a slog.

"Lochness confess to me" is such a simple lyrics but it sounds so cool!

What do fans think of this song? Is it beloved or considered not good?

I was in middle school when I first heard Breaking the Law. Halford screaming, "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE ". It was a warrior cry that spoke to me. My parents hated it, which pulled me into everything metal. Priest got it and got me.

What was that song for you?

It was the most emotional interview I ever had to do. Thank you for everything, Ian!

Pretty sure I was at this show: Saturday, June 21, 1980 at Portland Oregon at Memorial Coliseum. Does anyone know the opening band or bands for this show? Google and AI are giving conflicting answers and none of them sound right.

i'm loving almost ever album they've put out so far. A few i haven't listened to yet, but will eventually get around to. I've only listened to them since Invincible Shield came out and born past their prime, but i wish i was around back then!

solo for these old fingers to try and cover, I have to say I think the 1st solo from this song is the one I prefer more.

What do you like better?

I preordered the original recording version of the CD on Amazon and just got this notice. Meanwhile, for the Remix/Remaster CD, I preordered from Target, and that's still due for late November.

Was there a date change?
