Hey there! I’m looking to see if anyone is willing to let my family borrow (or other options I don’t want this getting taken down) a formal vest and dress pants (in black) or a plain black tuxedo! We have been invited to something super last minute and don’t know what to do! I can send you my number if you’re interested in helping me out!! My son is 5’11 and he is 160 it’s normally a small or medium in men’s. I would really appreciate if anyone is willing to help a stranger out. Thank you!!!

We have been coming to St. Augustine for years (from Orlando) and always parked in the lot behind the Columbia restaurant. The fee was always fair and the guy running the lot always did a great job directing people in and out. Well, we went back there about two weeks ago to see the lot had been bought out and now had hourly parking rates. First, the rates were astronomical, second we overstayed by 30 minutes and received a $75 fee in the mail. We did reach out to discuss the egregious price to which they reiterated we overstayed our time by 30 minutes and would be liable for the fee.
Safe to say, we will absolutely not be returning to this lot and I hope those reading this also know there are way better non-predatory options should you decide to enjoy St. George street.
For me, the whole situation has deterred me from even wanting to go back to one of my favorite places to make a day trip.

Hey all. If anyone knows a Lavalkus Kaeron Jordan, tell them he dropped his Social Security card in a bank parking lot. Have them dm me to work out a good way to pick it up.

I’m over in op and have seen and heard tons of jets. Cool formations too. Is there a show going on today or are they just practicing?

Anyone have any recommendations or good or bad experiences with it?
Likely going to do the JaxBread one but the class is three hours right over dinner. Do they feed you, expect you to buy food in house?
Don't know if I can get through a whole class on an empty stomach.

Hello! I am a teacher who works online 30+ hours a week (China) and full time in person. Long story short, this summer my senior chihuahua had surgery and I had to get another dryer. Today these bills came out of my account and I need more work asap as both jobs do not pay me until Wednesday.
Is anyone's child in need of tutoring services, even if it's just for a few times? Or I'm happy to be a long term placement. I'll drive to a public library of your choice or teach online. I'm familiar with online platforms and love teaching. I have taught for over 10 years.
I am certified and endorsed in Gifted, ELL, k-12 reading, k-5 elementary, 6-12 English language arts. I also teach algebra and SAT/ACT prep. One of my
Math students recently went up 8 points on her ACT after just one month of online tutoring. I teach all ages online and subjects, even Lincoln Douglas debate. If you're interested, please message me! I'm happy to teach any age group or subject in a way that brings every student joy, confidence, and engagement.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you all have a great day.

Are the Blue Angels practicing today? I can’t see from San Marco, but something huge just went over, I’m wondering if it was a B-1 or a flight of smaller jets.

Hi has anybody dealt with the Otolaryngology/ENT at UF Health? I'm having a hard time trying to get anyone on the phone. My previous ear surgeon in South Florida recommended a dr in UF Health. I'm in the process of looking for someone else.

What is everyone’s thoughts on the newish bass pro in St. Augustine
I’m from South Florida so my thoughts might be a little jaded since I grew up going to the on in davie but the entire time I was there I couldn’t help but feel it was a little bit of a letdown
Walking around it seems like they didn’t know how about to go on setting up the store and honestly it felt more like a REI to me then an actual bass pro shop
And also, why is it so dark in some areas ?
Now I’ll obviously still go and buy stuff from here but I just had a meh feeling the entire time there

Where is a good place to watch besides the base?
I’d like to get as close as possible to see all the fun tricks. I’ve been scouring the map to find a public place by the river but they seem so far away.
Please let me know!!

In Jax, I don't mind driving a little either. Just looking to get a wash and set and a trim, I have layers, at a salon that doesn't flat iron after the blow dry as well

I just spent about 20 minutes on a dock with my net scooping trash from the river. I am depressed after seeing the bottles, caps, plastic bags, styrofoam and everything else that floats. I filled a trash bag. With the recent rain, trash on the ground flowed into the storm sewers and directly into the river. It will clog runoff areas, leech microplastics and put toxic chemicals into the jewel of Jacksonville.
You might want to look at the St Johns Riverkeeper website to learn about the challenges the river faces and how we can help.

Hi locals, I’m hoping to get some recommendations for things to do and places to eat. My kid has a school interview next month and we will have one full day to see all we can see. We’re thinking of staying at the Marriott downtown, so anything walkable from there would be a plus. Also, ideas for ways for me to kill time during her interview would be awesome. Thanks for your help!
