From 12-2 on Saturday we will gather to say No Kings and encourage everyone to vote early or just VOTE. There will be banners on the bridge over 13 but only people holding banners can stay in the bridge for safety. Gather on the sidewalks on each side of the bridge.
You can park at Cayuga Mall and The Shops at ithaca lot. If walking that far is difficult there are some spaces in the lot where Applebees used to be.
If you have to cross Triphammer there are only 2 crosswalks which you must use. Patronize the businesses up there afterwards.

Fun market planned this Saturday for those looking for some spooky season amusement

I’m in a bit of a bind and need someone to hem a dress for me. The usual tailors, like John’s, K’s, and Slow Hill, aren’t available because I need it by this coming Wednesday, October 21st. Does anyone have a hobby of hemming clothes and could help me shorten my dress? It shouldn’t be too complicated, but I’m in a hurry! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know of any 21+ halloween parties/bar takeovers, etc. happening in Ithaca this year? I'd love to do some spooky night dancing, drinking, and making new friends!

While packing my car to go away for the week, I made the mistake of forgetting to put my suitcase in the car. I must have left it by the side of the road on Giles St. in between the bridge over the gorge and Hudson street.

I’ve been seeing small business use AI everywhere. It’s exhausting to get bombarded with awful graphics, and fake food images that don’t even look like what their actual food is. So, look up articles on the awful things AI is trying to take away from us…..CREATIVITY.

It’ll take you a little longer to figure out how you want to present your business put it’ll help you in the long run to create your own image for your business. There are graphic design students in both universities (TC3, Cornell, Ithaca College), kids from highschool that work on graphic design through their art class as well, and SO MANY LOCAL ARTISTS. There are multiple youtube videos on how to create your own graphic designs and canva templates are free to use. You just need 5 templates and keep recycling them throughout your socials!

Just give us the photos of real food, make menus easier to read, and stop bombarding us with BS that we don’t want.

I also find it hypocritical that people are against the data centers being on Cayuga lake while people use AI to generate fake images of themselves with the upcoming “trend” that’s going on. Shame👏🏼on👏🏼you

Go online, do your research, see the impacts of AI. If you’re still having a hard time understanding, keep educating yourself. Don’t let these elites turn us into sheep.

I need to frame several pieces of original art for a gallery opening in November. I know that some places like Michael’s can do it but I would prefer someone local (and hopefully inexpensive). I just don’t think I have the skills or knowledge to do it myself!

Hello All! We are purchasing a home in Ithaca, set back pretty far off the road (near Trumansburg Rd, a bit up past Cayuga Medical/Hospital).

Spectrum claims the location is unserviceable and Verizon claims that 5G Home Internet is not available for the location either.

I work remotely and need a decent internet connection. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this? A standard hotspot router/wifi is not a good option as they throttle back after you hit a limit. I need to have access for work and for streaming, without throttling.

Any insights would be welcome. Maybe StarLink? Or EarthLink? I have no knowledge of them or experience with them.
