🎁 Freemium [FREE LIFETIME] I built an Apple Watch sleep & recovery app — giving away 500 Lifetime Premium licenses ($34.99 → FREE)! 🎁

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m an indie developer, and I’ve been working on my app, Watch Wrist Temp Tracker, for quite some time.

What originally started as a simple app to track Apple Watch wrist temperature has grown into a more complete sleep and recovery tracking experience.

What problem does it solve?

Apple Watch collects useful health data while you sleep, but I wanted a simpler way to see everything together and understand how my sleep and recovery change over time.

My app brings together:

  • 🌡️ Overnight wrist temperature and baseline trends
  • 😴 Sleep duration and sleep stages
  • ❤️ Sleeping heart rate
  • ⚡ Daily Health Score and Recovery Score
  • 📊 Weekly, monthly, and yearly health trends
  • ⌚ Apple Watch complications and iPhone widgets
  • 📁 Data export and additional insights

The goal is to make Apple Watch sleep data easier to understand through a clean, simple interface.

How is it different from alternatives?

Apps like AutoSleep, Athlytic, and Bevel offer their own approaches to sleep and recovery tracking.

Watch Wrist Temp Tracker started with a specific focus on overnight wrist temperature and gradually expanded to include sleep, heart rate, health scores, and recovery trends.

My approach is to keep everything simple and easy to understand, with a dedicated Apple Watch experience and clear visualizations.

I’m continuously improving the app based on user feedback.

Pricing

The app is free to download, with some basic features available for free.

Premium options:

  • Monthly: €3.99 (7-day free trial)
  • Yearly: €19.99 (7-day free trial)
  • Lifetime: €34.99 (one-time purchase)

Prices may vary by country.

🎁 Giveaway Update

I recently shared 500 free Lifetime redemption codes, and all of them have now been claimed!

I’m genuinely overwhelmed by the response. Thank you so much to everyone who downloaded the app, left a comment, or shared feedback.

I’m sorry to everyone who missed out. ❤️

An Apple Watch is required to collect wrist temperature and sleep data.

📱 App Store:

I’d love to hear your feedback, especially from people working night shifts or rotating schedules, as I’m still gathering feedback about those sleep patterns.

Thank you for supporting independent developers! ❤️

🎈 Free I wanted Minesweeper to feel genuinely beautiful on iOS, so I built Onyx :)

Post image
40 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m Mark, the developer of Onyx. I’ve always loved Minesweeper, but I wanted a version that felt calm, thoughtful and truly at home on iPhone and iPad.

A - Answer

Onyx keeps the logic of classic Minesweeper while giving it a more considered experience: fluid touch controls, logic-only and random boards, daily puzzles, smart hints, custom themes, infinity mode and focused Find the Mine challenges.

B - Better

Apps on iOS tend to lean into nostalgia, and others keeps things very traditional. Onyx takes a different direction: quieter, more modern and shaped around deduction, customisation and smooth mobile play. I am trying to make it look appealing, feel smooth, clean and clear.

There are different modes to play around which are classical field, puzzles to find mine(s) or empty space(s) and infinity! Also keeping all the stats, times and other records.

The app has grown enormously through player feedback, and I’m still carefully improving every detail.

C - Cost

Completely free, with no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. It also works fully offline.

I’d genuinely love to hear what you think, especially about the design, controls and overall feel. Thank you so much if you decide to try it!!!

🎁 Freemium I made Stride — turn your daily steps into weekly leagues and races with friends

Hi r/iosapps! I’m the developer of Stride: Step Counter.

I wanted everyday walking to be enjoyable, so I built an iPhone step counter with weekly leagues and races you can share with friends. Your steps move Bib, a hand-drawn mascot, along a track toward your daily goal.

What you can do:

* Climb weekly walking leagues from Bronze to Elite
* Race friends: most steps over a few days, or first to a target
* Build daily goal streaks and see your step history

Stride reads steps from Apple Health and does not record your location or routes.

It’s free to download. Core leagues, streaks, and friend races are free, with up to two open races you create. Optional Pro adds widgets, customization, unlimited races, and more stats/history.

Pricing:
Monthly: $2.99/month
Annual: $14.99/year
Lifetime: $19.99

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6816761374

I’d love feedback: would you be more motivated by a weekly league or a race with a friend?

🎈 Free [FREE] TeleCam: Capture Distant Subjects with Up to 100x Zoom

[FREE] TeleCam: Capture Distant Subjects with Up to 100x Zoom

I once went to a concert and ended up sitting pretty far from the stage. I wanted to get some good shots of the performers, but they were just too far away😮‍💨\ Since cameras aren’t allowed at many concerts, I started wondering if I could make better use of my iPhone’s camera to capture things farther away💪

🎉That was the idea behind TeleCam

A - What it does 📸

TeleCam is an iPhone camera app that lets you zoom in up to 100x to capture distant subjects.

Whether you’re using a Pro or non-Pro iPhone, TeleCam helps you make the most of your device’s camera. Even without a dedicated telephoto lens, you can use it to capture distant subjects.

B - What makes it different 🔭\ Rather than focusing only on zoom, I wanted to give users more ways to get the shot they want.

🔭 Up to 100x zoom for concerts, sports, wildlife, the moon, and other distant subjects.\ 📱 Make the most of your iPhone’s camera. Designed to help you get more out of the camera hardware you already have, including on models without a dedicated telephoto lens.\ 🎛️ Manual camera controls. Adjust ISO, shutter speed, white balance, exposure, and focus when you want more control.\ 🎥 High-quality video. Record up to 4K at 60 fps, with video stabilization.\ 📸 Multiple photo formats. Save photos in HEIC, JPEG, PNG, or RAW.\ 🪄Automatic photo enhancement. TeleCam automatically optimizes image quality after you take a photo to help bring out more detail.

I’ll keep improving TeleCam to deliver a better shooting experience and better photo results over time. ✨

C - Cost💰\ 🎁TeleCam is free to download and use!

💎 Lifetime I built Heart Rate Insights to compare years of Apple Health heart-rate data

Thumbnail
gallery
6 Upvotes

Hi! I’m the developer of Heart Rate Insights, an iPhone and iPad app for exploring the heart-rate history already in Apple Health.

On-device analysis. No account required. The app doesn’t automatically upload your health data. You decide whether to export, copy, or share anything.

A — Answer

Apple Health can collect years of readings, but I wanted to ask questions beyond one day’s chart: How did two periods compare? Were workdays different from days off? Was a difference visible throughout the day, or only at certain hours?

I built this to compare those periods while showing typical ranges and how much data each comparison is based on.

B — Better

Compared with Apple Health’s built-in views, Heart Rate Insights focuses on flexible comparisons:

  • Compare two periods, workdays with days off, or custom times of day.
  • Switch between trends, typical-day patterns, and distributions.
  • Inspect standout weeks alongside nearby weeks.
  • Create PDF reports to share with your doctor, or CSV exports for your own analysis.

The optional Prompt feature prepares text you can review and choose to share with an external AI service. No AI model runs inside the app.

It’s for personal review, not diagnosis or live monitoring.

C — Cost

  • Free, with no expiration: most views cover the latest 60 days, Patterns up to 90 days, and one export (PDF or CSV) is included.
  • Optional 14-day Pro trial: all available history, long-range patterns, and unlimited PDF/CSV exports, with no automatic charge. Afterward, Free limits return unless you buy Pro.
  • Lifetime Pro: $14.99 USD once for all available history, long-range patterns, and unlimited PDF/CSV exports.
  • One Report Export: $0.99 USD if you only need another export.

No subscription. Local App Store prices vary.

💎 Lifetime TakeKit: Teleprompter camera, now also on iPhone Duo

Thumbnail
gallery
5 Upvotes

Hey, Eduardo here 👋 Solo dev, the one behind r/trovelo and r/dimmly. I posted TakeKit in this sub last month and the feedback was actually useful, so here is what shipped since.

Quick recap for anyone new: TakeKit is a camera with a built in teleprompter that only you can see. The guide is composited in the preview layer only, never in the capture pipeline, so the exported video always comes out clean. It is an iPhone app plus a Mac floating panel that stays on top of Zoom, OBS, Loom or Meet. No subscription, no account, no server, no analytics, because I do not have any.

A) Answer (what's new)

Dual camera. Front and back at the same time, on supported devices. You read your script looking straight at the lens while the back camera captures whatever you are showing, in one take, instead of two clips you have to sync afterwards. The inset can be a rectangle, a square or a circle, and you drag it wherever you want in the frame. What you set is what gets exported, white border and all. The teleprompter rule still holds: it is in your preview and nowhere in the file.

Also in this build:

  • The app opens on the script you were last working on, with a Continue button that picks up exactly where your last take stopped
  • The script editor has a time ruler down the margin, so you can see how long a passage runs while you are still writing it, and // pauses now count as real beats
  • The guide can be see through. Solid, Dim or Clear, so you can frame yourself while you read. Camera controls moved into one console instead of sitting over your shot
  • Playback follows your headphones, and you pick your microphone. Wireless receivers and USB mics both work, for recording and for voice paced scrolling

B) Better (why I built it instead of using what's out there)

  • The guide is never in the file. That is the whole point of the app, everything else is built around it.
  • Auto scroll that follows your voice instead of a fixed speed. Fully on device, fuzzy aligned against a window of the script, so filler words, accents and improvised bits do not derail it. Fixed speed is there if you prefer it.
  • LAST SPOT: stop mid script, breathe, resume from exactly where you stopped. Each chunk stores its range and the app stitches them into one video afterwards, without re encoding when it can.
  • Eye contact mode: the guide docks right next to the front lens so you are not visibly reading off to the side. Karaoke style ink marks what you already said.
  • Takes organised by script, not dumped into the camera roll. Star the good one, rename, compare attempts, live mic meter.
  • Clean export: 9:16, 16:9, 1:1, 4:5, trim, up to 1080p. Pro adds word by word burned captions generated on device, plus automatic silence cutting.
  • Scripts sync through your iCloud, videos live in your iCloud Drive, speech recognition never leaves the device.

Straight about the trade offs: it needs iOS 26+ and macOS 15+, which rules some people out. No Android, no iPad optimised layout. Solo dev, so things ship fast but one at a time.

C) Cost

Free forever: up to 5 scripts and 5 takes, small watermark on export. Teleprompter, recording, eye contact mode, aspect ratios and trim all work in the free tier.

TakeKit Pro: $9.99, one time. Never a subscription. One purchase covers iPhone and Mac. It unlocks unlimited scripts and takes, voice guided auto scroll, burned captions, automatic silence cutting and watermark free export.

Update offer for this sub: $6.99. Code TAKEKIT699, paste it in Settings > Redeem, or redeem here:
https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6792025212&code=TAKEKIT699

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6792025212

Feature requests go to r/takekit. I read everything there and it is where I post what is coming next, so ideas do not get buried in a comment thread 🙌

💎 Lifetime MusicDrops 2.0: release tracker for artists you follow, now with daily/weekly digests and monthly recaps

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

I'm the dev of MusicDrops.

Apple Music's own new-release notifications never worked reliably for me. With about 20 favourite artists I was missing roughly 4 in 5 releases (especially singles), and I found one album almost two months after it came out.
MusicDrops checks the artists you follow and tells you when they release something.
It uses Apple's MusicKit, so there's no separate login, and you can import your artists from your library.

I built it narrower than the big all-in-one trackers (MusicHarbor covers more ground, like concerts and news).
MusicDrops is about one question: did it drop yet?

Update 2.0 is huge! It adds control over how loud that is:
- Notify right away, once a day, or only a weekly recap
- Monthly recap of everything your artists released, shareable as an image
- Deluxe and alternate editions that only exist on the iTunes Store now show on the release page
- Every screen redesigned, with iPad and iPhone Duo layouts
And so many smaller things, check out the update notes in the App Store.

It isn't perfectly instant. iOS decides when apps get to run in the background, so a surprise drop shows up at the next check, not to the minute.

No account, no ads, no analytics. Sync goes through your own iCloud, so there's no server of mine.

Free for up to 10 artists, with all features available.
Unlimited is €1.99/month, €14.99/year (about €1.25/month) or €44.99 once. Family Sharing works on all of them.

If you follow a lot of artists, which would you actually use: instant, daily or weekly?
And if it misses a release for you, tell me the artist and the record. That's the bug report I care about most.

🎁 Freemium I built Cohestry, a private second brain that connects your notes and maps them in 3D

I built Cohestry because I wanted my notes to actually come back when they became relevant, instead of disappearing into folders. It’s a native Markdown library and second brain that automatically links related notes, resurfaces old ideas, and lets you explore everything through a 3D graph. Your library stays on your devices and syncs through iCloud.

Compared with tools like Obsidian, I wanted the basics to feel much more Apple-native and require less setup. Notes, Markdown editing, PDF export and iPhone ↔ Mac sync are free. The Mac app is coming shortly with Apple Notes import and an optional MCP bridge for Claude, Codex and other agents.

Cohestry is freemium. Pro is $5.99/month, $39.99/year or $99.99 lifetime, with a 3-day trial. I’m the developer. My LinkedIn is https://linkedin.com/in/kingbillion1
