Weight Talk TRIGGER WARNING Spiraling after doc visit

I am having a really hard time after a visit with a new GP. I am clinically obese class 1. I am very active with soccer that I enjoy; and eat with a mind to celebrating food while making sure I get good amounts of fiber and nutrients. Overall I’ve worked so hard to get to a place of neutrality with my body. I went through some super restrictive lifestyles choices when I was younger; but now with the help of a dietician specializing in intuitive eating I think I’m in a good spot.

Anyway, went to a new doctor and she went off and how my weight is so unhealthy. In her notes she wrote obese in red letters all over it. For the record my blood pressure and blood sugar are super healthy, and my cholesterol is mildly raised. I know on paper my body is passing the tests for “healthy” and mentally I’m in such a better place than when I was younger and dieting crazy.

But I just feel like I’m fooling myself somehow. This whole thing has thrown me into so much self doubt.
