Intriguing Kiyoshi Kimura and his effect on Somali piracy

Post image

He was, and is, the owner of Kiyomura Corporation, which runs the Sushi Zanmai chain across Japan. In Tokyo he is known as the Tuna King, because every January he buys the most expensive fish at the first auction of the year at the central market.

People here, of all persuasions, believe words over images if it makes them feel good. They only require an article if it doesn't.

Why is few ask for articles backing up random images baffles me

when someone does post an article, everyone just automatically accepts the image as the truth, even though there's nothing in the article that corroborates the image except for maybe a couple of small, barely related details that the lie was derived from

So, we're supposed to accept anonymous reddit comments as the truth, then?

Plus its a fucking article that can lie and twist the fact and not a trustworthy document or body of scientific work?

There were at least two others I recall seeing here with this format image that I knew were out of context or misleading.

I should just mute this subreddit.

So, maybe you're right, but, what we're supposed to do here, is believe anonymous reddit comments over an actual real person we can google? See the problem there?

Absolutely not. "Person you hate did a bad thing" infamously never requires elaboration or proof at all.

They were trained by their mothers and aunts posting similar things on facebook without any further citations.
