I would say that dudes need to stop logging into FB and snitching on themselves, but it’s hilarious when they do!

I'd bet my next paycheck to confirm this OOP has had sex 'for fun' (for him at least) at least once and has pressured at least one women into sex she didn't entirely want. Fucking loser.

YIKES lol. Those are guys you have to escape when get near them. Those are predators enabled by a community. Real “Jerry Seinfeld” types. They just tell you they’re monsters and they actually are.

It's so great when they're autistic, autistic people can't lie, he's a total asshole but he's always gonna be upfront about it
Edit: hey, autistic folks! This was a joke! A joke!

Do you genuinely believe that autistic people can't lie? Because I'm autistic and I'm more than capable of lying

It was a joke. At least I know you're telling the truth
No I don't believe it, because I was joking.

The thing is that people actually believe these kind of things about autism, and statements like your comment just reinforce those beliefs, no matter your intention. Especially since it doesn't reliably read as a joke without verbal intonation, people say this kind of thing genuinely and no-joke on the internet all the time.

If people are managing their relationship with mental health based on anonymous comments on Reddit we're already fucked, man
This is a subreddit called r/insanepeoplefacebook. I am not out of line to make a joke.
Maybe you need to take yourself a little less seriously.
Please get off your soapbox. This is not an appropriate place for it.

This is about reinforcing stereotypes and public perception, not about an autistic person's own self-image.
Clearly marking it as a joke would already go a long way, although it would still be feeding into stereotypes. But at least a little bit less than something that can read as being serious.

By who? By what fool? Somebody that stupid can't read. Jokes don't need content warnings.
Please be serious. You're tone policing me. You've decided you have to have a just problem with me, because you have a justice sensitivity. You're stood on a soapbox and it's not working.
This is a straw man argument and I have no respect for it.
I made a joke. Lighten up, go touch grass, stop lecturing me.

Whoever taught you about folks with autism owes you an apology.

They taught me autistic people have a hard time recognizing jokes and they were right about that

Poes Law = No matter how obvious you think your joke is, someone on the internet will think you meant exactly what you said.
Especially if it was a bad joke.

Making a joke about autistic people on Reddit is going to get the reaction I got, which I knew. I'm being very entertained by the scolding and heckling

Isn't a joke supposed to be funny though?
I'm not autistic for the record, but I fail to see how anyone could find this funny.

Bad jokes exist
Comedy is subjective
I don't know what to tell you, but I do appreciate the heckle, it means the joke worked

Ever notice people that think that way are people you wouldn't want to fuck in the first place?
