Damn imagine how much of a hateful fuck you have to be that even the deliciousness of butter chicken, IMO a strong contender for best dish in the world, can’t make you appreciate multiculturalism?

Spices make their widdle mouths hurt. Probably eats room temperature Kraft "cheese" sandwiches and drinks flat sprite

Not true. They have hot sauce. It's just everyone else calls it mayo.

I have family that think mild salsa is spicy and that bell peppers are hot. Meanwhile, i slather my hoppin john (black eyed peas, rice & ham) with hot sauce like cholula.

My granny only likes green bell peppers because she thinks the other colours are “too spicy”

Meanwhile I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the Last Dab

Indian food is delicious. That sounds like a personal problem thinking eating it is to normalize mass immigration.

Goddamn, if you can't enjoy some of the most flavorful, savory dishes like Butter Chicken, what brings you joy? bread and butter? Crackers?

I mean, Country Captain from the American South is basically the same thing. Even Chicken a la King isn't that far off.

I'm a white guy, but could you imagine North American cuisine without the multicultural influence? God damn what a horribly boring place this would be

As a Brit I just assume the southern states have zero cuisine other than bbq and tex mex that they claim is better than Mexico.

Every single person I know loves butter chicken. We cook it sometimes 2x a month and im whiter than white bread lol. Why are you so pissed that we like cuisine thats not traditionally Canadian

Oh no not people getting along

I always find the audacity of these people interesting because the only reason we’re here and complaining about ‘mass immigration’ is cause we killed a huge chunk of the indigenous population and shoved them onto tiny plots of land. Like be fucking for real this land isn’t yours to get pissy about you white bread bitch.

I am chicken fingers and fries autistic and I fucking love butter chicken. I'm not a insecure white supremacist so I actually appreciate the diversity of Canada

Like

Is liking pizza Italian propaganda?

If I appreciate beef stew am I backing Big Irish?

There are lots of Indians in Canada. They have been fantastic immigrants into our country, hard-working, and they create great Canadians in their second generation just like every other immigrant group.

I had poutine made with butter chicken sauce and paneer at a festival this past summer and it was amazing

Bro should probably try some. Might make him less of an asshole

Imagine getting mad over a post about good ass food. I’d be like “hold on, let me get my plate!!”

My dad brought home butter chicken one day on a whim after his work took him to a sadly now closed Indian place. Butter chicken is now my favourite food, even if I have to get it less spicy

1

u/SneeKeeFahk 1h ago

Oh man ... I could totally see a butter chicken poutine being amazing

This is more of an Egyptian/Turkish & Canadian mix but chicken shawarma poutine is *chefs kiss*. Also love me some butter chicken with garlic naan.

I feel like the shawarma poutine I posted on my profile a couple weeks ago would fit since the chicken definitely had more of an Indian flavour to it!
