Been thinking to get one for my silver pro max, can anyone share your experience in terms of feel, durability, issues or any insights? Context: No I dont drop my phone that often, I dont really care about scratches as long as its not a dent, and yes i am careful with my devices.

Guys I have switched from iPhone 11 to an iPhone 17 pro max. In my iPhone 11 there used to be a Vivid filter which used to keep the pictures vibrant. Now in the iPhone 17, I see they have introduced the Photography Styles. That's very much different from the camera filters that we used to have in older iPhones.

I wanted to ask what are some of the recommended camera settings that you guys have changed after switching to iPhone 17 (Pro/Pro Max).

I’m thinking at least 6 years, it’s my first ever pro iPhone and I feel like the 12 gigs of ram will really help keep this phone snappy for a long time. Also I don’t know if the design will really change enough for a while, the 18 pro barely was an upgrade.

So I have the iPhone 17 pro max and the iPad air M3, I was doing some random comparisons between them to decide what to play games on (despite the fact that the ipad doesn't have 120hz), I realized that the ipad has unlimited multi tap capabilities, while the iPhone can ONLY HOLD UP 5 taps at the same time, I thought that this was a problem with this model only but I tried the 13, 15, 16 and even the 18 line ups and they all have the same problem, they all freeze when you add up another finger to the 5 and the will not unfreeze until you take off that 6th finger, was this normal before? I have never noticed this problem when I had older iPhones on older versions of updates, So I wanna know if this is a software problem that can be fixed with an update or do we have to live with it? I really can't stand the fact that the ipads from the same company can hold up infinite fingers but the iPhones can't even tho the iPhones are the most popular and might even be stronger in performance.

I can get a 17 Pro for $1199 USD or 17 Pro for $1149 USD (both converted from my local currency)

the thing is I’ve always used the smaller base/Pro model, but this time I feel like I’m losing out on a much bigger screen and battery for such a small price increment.

should I bite the bullet and go Pro Max?

Recently submitted a express replacement for my 17 pro but I didn’t even realize they shipped me a 1TB model until I set it up

Not that I’m complaining whatsoever but anyone have any ideas on why this happened or any similar experiences

O app de pesquisa está com um bug onde o teclado fica sumindo e aparecendo a cada letra digitada. (Ao menos na versão em Português do Brasil)

Além disso alguns amigos estão sofrendo os mesmos problemas em iPhones mais antigos.

Im currently on 26.5.1 and will update to ios 27 after 2 weeks so its done with indexing and have around 152gb lying around after setting it up

Is any Apple Intelligence worth enabling or any features that you like ok thats what i paid for an 17 series for

Have any of you noticed that touch sensitivity feels worse on iOS 27 compared to iOS 26, especially when swiping between Home Screen pages?

I’ve been experiencing this myself, but I’m not sure whether it’s just me or an actual issue. Sometimes, my iPhone doesn’t seem to register a swipe properly, so it fails to switch to the next Home Screen page.

I’ve read quite a few reports of similar issues affecting the iPhone 17 Pro Max on iOS 27. Has anyone found any new information or anything that confirms this might be a minor iOS 27 software bug that Apple will hopefully fix in a future update?

So I have the iPhone 17 pro for a year now and I love the phone. The battery is way better than my old iPhone. I even tried an android flagship in the meantime and man that battery sucks like 1.5 hours of Pokémon go gameplay on 5G and the thing was at 0% battery while on my 17 pro after 1.5 hours I have like 80% left…… only bad thing is the 17 pro is not the newest anymore because the 18 pro has been released.

Anyway many people in my surroundings seem to but me for using an iPhone. I don’t really understand what all the hate is about. I am never busy with what brands other people use as their daily phone. Only if I’m just genuinely interested in someone’s phone like someone at my work uses a folding phone and I asked him about it. Never in a negative or judging way.

So is the 17 pro a bad phone? Why are people hating on me for using an iPhone? I hear all the dumb arguments like every week. Apple is too expensive, the ai is shit, less things being costumizable and a lot of other things an android phone is better in from their words. I don’t quite understand and I often just shame myself for having an iPhone. Even if the phones are expensive I buy a new one like every 5-6 years. What’s 1200$ / 5 a year?

Very confused with what covers would actually go with the cosmic orange iphone 17 pro, since it is a very different and lets call it an unconventional colour for a phone. Any suggestions ? Share yours if you can !

Does anyone else have this problem? I have broght a local transparent case looks amazing for the first few weeks and then slowly starts getting that yellow/brown tint. I've tried cleaning them, but eventually it doesn't really help. I'm considering switching to an anti-yellow case from Casence or Spigen. What has worked for you guys?

My trusty beautiful space gray XS Max finally died :( I loved that phone and it had been working great until recently where it would go into non-stop Apple logo boot loops every time I locked it or it would auto-lock. I had to attempt to wake it up about 5-10 times in a row before it would actually boot up.

I didn’t want to upgrade because I wanted to see how far I could go but I guess 7ish years is not a bad run.

The last straw was today, trying to use my Wawa app at the register and my phone went into a boot loops every time and I told the poor guy I’d brb lmfao

Since I updated to iOS27, I feel that the keyboard takes longer to pop out after I touch the address bar or text box for Safari and Messaging apps, usually it pops out instantly.

After updating to iOS27.0.1, the lag in WhatsApp and iMessage has disappeared but the one in Safari persists. Does anyone experience this?

So I just updated my wife’s phone from a 13 to a 17 pro. We can’t seem to get the text messages or the calendar to sync properly from the old device to the new. She’s “logged in” to her Apple account. The apps all came over on (scrambled not in any order) but the calendar and text messages are still missing.
As a side note, the phone is SUPER HOT to the touch.
Not sure what next steps are? Any thoughts?

(I meant iOS 27.01) I just bought my iPhone 17 pro max brand new about a month ago, it currently only has 35 cycles and for the first two weeks I’d use it from 11 am to 10 pm with 20% left. And I mean I used it ALL DAY heavily from those hours. It was on iOS 27. Now, 2 weeks ago I updated to iOS 27.01 (I fucking regret so badly) and mind you my usage has stayed EXACTLY the same this whole number and now I’d have 20% from 11 to 7. SO I NOW HAVE 20% less battery cut from those 3 hours and THIS IS NOT A CASE OF INDEXING!! IVE BEEN UPDATED FOR TWO WEEKS, I ALREADY HAVE ALL MY SETTINGS TWEAKED, this isn’t a hardware issue EITHER because my iPhone was performing BEAUTIFULLY in those 2 first weeks before I updated. I’m genuinely so sad, I got a pro max that I thought was capable of the maximum battery life, not for it to just be cut by a shitty update. It’s clearly not optimized. PLEASE, assure me will iOS 27.2 fix this?!!!
