Cluttered set up?
I’ve had an iPhone for years and always had all my apps arranged in folders on my Home Screen. I’m wondering if to try a different approach and use the App Library more. Thoughts?

Really like this, what's the unblurred wallpaper? Works super well with the top widget.

Why not just use App Library then?

I’m wary of change 😂

I just made a separate comment that I think will help. It’s super close to what you do now but cleaner and no change! Because I’m the same way, I love apps grouped into folders.

Once you learn the app library and get used to using it, almost any apps on the home screen that you don’t use constantly are just redundant.

Not cluttered IMO. I like having apps in folders with my go-to folders on the first page

I’m always changing my Home Screen set up and I never seem to use folders even though I love everything organised because I’m not sure if it seems slightly overwhelming

i think its fine. ive seen worse but i personally stopped using folders. i only put my most used apps that i think always need instant access on one homepage and use the light or dark icons with the bigger icon size. i think its more clean and straightforward though isnt the most practical. also then off notification badges for most apps.

It appears cluttered to me. I have kept the same basic screen layout since I’ve gotten used to scroll twice and click up, or over
More often, with the exception of 5-8 apps I just pull down the search/SiriSearch and start typing the app name.
I don’t use the library

I don't use folders myself as iPhone automatically sorts them in the App Library. Try getting rid of your folders and only have your four most-used apps on the bottom near your main apps in the Dock. I think it can help to highlight your wallpaper more and alleviate the need for having to sort apps into folders in the first place. This method works for me, but it could be worth trying. Sometimes - less in more.

Everyone is suggesting App Library but I heartily disagree. I want specific apps grouped with specific apps — sometimes I can’t remember their name or sometimes I forget certain good ones exist because I don’t use them often.
I use shortcut menus. It’s even easier now with the AI component of building them, I used to do it all manually. Then I have one button on my home screen per group or per menu. Customized, it can be whatever you want. Click it and choose your app from a short list. Done!

Super cluttered but at least you can’t see anything properly because of the glass.
