Help

My iPhone 14 Pro is stuck at 93% while charging on iOS 27, even though Battery Health is 93%. It shows charging complete, and the phone is not overheating. I’ve tried force restarting, turning Optimized Battery Charging on and off, and resetting all settings, but nothing works. I’m also getting only 4–4.5 hours of screen-on time. Has anyone experienced the same issue? Is it an iOS bug or a hardware problem? Please suggest a solution.

force restart before going to bed, disable any charge limit & keep on wifi and charge overnight for battery to recalibrate, make sure you are up to date on ios27.0.1

I tried it, but unfortunately, the problem is still not resolved.

could be battery issue, check sides of your phone is sealed, was this apple original battery, haven’t seen any battery issue post’s related to ios27 , not really sure what to do from here tbh

if you recently updated to ios27 and did not have ios26.6 or later installed your device may be going through deep indexing, not sure if this could cause error , when was last time your battery recalibrated ? not sure if this could cause an error

i would probably keep battery optimisation off , check battery settings, look at battery changing and make sure optimised is definitely off ,i know you said you toggled this on/ off

disable any charge limit and hopefully your phone may recalibrate again

only thing i can think off is diagnostic mode to see if it can automatically fix fix or detect faulty battery

How to Enter Diagnostics Mode
Turn off your iPhone: Shut down the device completely using the power slider in settings or the side-and-volume button combination, then wait about 30 seconds.

Boot into Recovery/Diagnostics:
Method 1 (Recovery Assistant): Turn off your device, press and hold the side button when your device starts up, and tap Diagnostics Mode.
Method 2 (Button & Cable): Press and hold both the volume up and volume down buttons simultaneously while plugging the iPhone into a charger or a powered computer. Release the buttons when the Apple logo appears.
Connect to Wi-Fi: Tap Continue on the "Diagnostics and Repair" screen, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and agree to the privacy terms.

What You Can Test
Once loaded, Diagnostics Mode lets you check various internal components:
Display: Checks for dead pixels, color accuracy, and Multi-Touch responsiveness.
Audio: Plays test tones through speakers and records a short clip to check microphones.
Face ID: Runs a sensor check at an arm's length distance.
Cameras: Evaluates front and rear camera image quality.
Mobile Resource Inspector: Generates a quick hardware report covering the battery condition, Bluetooth, Apple Pay, and other sensors.

How to Exit Diagnostics Mode
Select Exit or Exit diagnostic and repair on-screen, or force a normal reboot by pressing and holding the side/volume buttons until the device restarts.

i have seen quite a few posts all with same issue as you but these were older posts during google search ,all had 93% , has to iphone pro bug , i wouldn’t worry too much, just run diagnostic to see if it can fix this or it may resolve on its own, doesn’t seem to be damaged battery thankfully.

possibly software bug that may get resolved next time you update, ios27.0.1 doesn’t have the greatest of battery life but ios27.2 is dropping on 26th this month and on developer beta it has far better battery life and you will see a big improvement
