You know... I don't think Trump actually wanted to be President. He wanted to be ceo and host rallies. We should have just let him go Emperor Norton, and pretend.
Edit: realized that Norton is maybe not common knowledge. He was a guy in San Francisco shortly after the gold rush that declared himself emperor of the US, and just spent the rest of his life pretending to be in charge.

Sorry he was nominated 2 weeks in and got it 8 months in. Neither of them deserve it. He got it because he promoted nuclear nonproliferation and was supposed to bridge the gap between Muslims and the rest of the world. He was bombing the shit out of people with drones while getting it.

wtf even is obamas legacy honestly. Did a lot of vaguely left wing messaging. Made healthcare his big thing of his first term and spent all his political capital on a pro insurance company reform package that just made everyone sign up for insurance which got worse and more expensive.
Deported a bunch of people at the border before open borders became the default dem counter-position in response to Trump.
Killed a bunch of people in the Middle East with drones so that at least less American soldiers died in it.
He seemed like a cool guy I guess?

This is why I said the room-temp IQ thing. When I say he ran a good campaign. I mean he swayed a lot of people to vote for him not that his ideas were good. Running a good campaign has nothing to do with your values and everything to do with getting people to support and vote for you. And if someone canât tell the difference they are dumb plain and simple. Hitler ran a great campaign but no one is out here supporting what he did or his ideals. However, he swayed 90% of Germany into voting for him and getting him into power. Itâs like saying âit was the perfect murderâ that doesnât mean it was morally justified it means it was uncatchable.

The word youâre looking for is effective. He ran an effective campaign based on hate. A good campaign would have had a platform and spoke to issues and problems that he had a plan for fixing.

Because Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize due to the symbolism of Obama having been the first Black president that we've had in America, coming from our extremely racist past, and taking into account how people were acting when he was campaigning, it makes sense. You also need to take into account that Obama wasn't "president for two weeks", as you've pointed out. He was actually president for 8 1/2 months at the time he was awarded the prize. Trump's fixation on winning a Nobel prize when he absolutely does not deserve the Nobel peace prize is hilarious to me, and it is a good thing that he not only does not qualify for one, but is most certainly not going to get one, and that pisses him off, that Obama got one and he isn't. And that's the only reason why he wants one, because Obama got one.
