What is a hopepost?

A hopepost is a shitpost-esque image/gif/video with a caption that inspires hope or highlights the beauty of existence. It is not a motivational poster/video, a wholesome meme, or a schizopost. Our formatting rules are elaborated on here. If you’ve come here to seek hope, check out our sister sub r/givemehope instead.
