I was going 76mph down a hill and it died on me. I lost power. I tried electric start but it wouldn’t turn over, I bump started it and it turned over but it sounded like it was bogging out but eventually ran perfectly fine. When I got home I noticed a ticking sound. I’m looking to fix the problem but don’t know where to start. Do you guys think a top end rebuild will fix it or do u think it’s bottom end? Thanks

I’m replacing my clutch plates and noticed my MKStunts rearsets crossbar bolts are missing and probably backed themselves out. Does anyone know the thread size of these engine mounting points? I’m planning to stop by the hardware store tomorrow and from what I could find online it’s probably M8 x 1.25mm and needs to be about 25-35mm long. But I couldn’t find anywhere confirming the thread size.

My grom in 200 miles has lost over 150ml of oil. I checked the spark plug (picture up here) and it’s looks clean, it dosent leak any oil, I check the intake box and there’s no pooling either ands it’s dry. I’m genuinely so confused where my oil is going. When revved high a little faint bit of white smoke comes out but that’s it. The soot in the exhaust is black and powdery and a little greasy but not oily. Anyone have any ideas. (Yes I have read the dipstick right, let it run for 5 min, cool down for 2-3 and check it when it’s up right and not screwing it in.

Pretty self explanatory from the title. Just bought a 2025 grom. I ordered a sub cage and want to get bar end sliders as well, but heard the bar diameter is different from OEM with pro taper bars.

Any recs that will work?

Also if anyone has recommendations for other parts to order for a stunt grom aside from bar end sliders and sub cage let me know. Thanks!

I’ve been reading up on Groms in preparation for a future purchase. It seems like there has been a TON of testing and videos of all the aftermarket parts available. I’m wondering if there is a tried and true path for mods. There seems to be several options for intakes, exhausts, and cams. I see there’s been a decent amount of dyno testing on the different parts too. Is there somewhere to compare all the different parts, or a known combination of parts that works together the best? I assume they’re all about the same since you are only dealing with a few hp, but a 1hp difference would be a big percentage in overall difference.

Let’s keep the discussion to bolt ons like intake, exhaust, cams, and tunes. Discuss intake tubes vs filters air box lids, vs bigger airbox tubes. Compare cams and tunes from different companies. Exhausts cheap vs expensive, full systems vs slip ons.

What’s the path to all the bolt on power?

No but really, forgive me in advance, I bought this 2023 Honda Grom rode it twice then bought an ebike and never looked back. It has been kept inside for 2.5 years now and turned on maybe once a year. I just bought a new battery because I want to sell it (completely stock, only 178 miles on it).

Now I could be wrong about how I’m turning it on, but I think the gas sitting in it has played as to why it’s having a hard time clean starting?

I was doing a top end rebuild on my 2017 honda grom and im pretty sure as I pulled the cam head this fell out. Its a bit chewed up and worn down but its not rubber it feels like a plastic. It has a sorta flat head slot on the back. There's no place or missing spot for it and I cant figure out what its from, anyone know? Bike has over 50k kms on it. As the title says im looking for an exhaust that is legal for uk roads and google keeps giving me mixed answers in what i can use and cant use i have a 2025 year grom if that helps.

Hey y’all, I’m not sure if anyone has experienced this before, changing the levers on my 2023 Grom and the brake lever, easy 15min no problem, but this clutch lever, holy, I removed the nut off the flathead bolt to start after removing my clutch cable, but this screw will not budge, I’ve soaked it in penetrating oil, I’ve resorted to percussive maintenance hoping to get some wiggle room, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

This is my street legal budget Grom I took out to the Appalachian Mountains in OH, even though my clutch disks hated it, I had fun. Any suggestions for clutch assembly upgrades? I have mostly been doing the essential maintenance on it for the last year and I’m also wondering what performance upgrades are best for aggressive commuting/canyons?
