ISO console lockbox recommendations

Hi everyone!

Im not sure if this is the correct place to post this, so please point me in the right direction if I am mistaken.

I am looking for some recommendations for a lockbox to hold an Xbox. I support a disabled youth with limited impulse control and autism who has historically broken into the clear acrylic lock boxes to steal the console to pawn it/sell it. They are a teenager and very determined to steal it when they want. However, is doing better behaviorally and also very determined to play GTA 6, lol.

I dont have the exact ones used previously, but I know they were purchased off Amazon. They did not work, RIP Xbox, and i need something that can hold up.

I need something that is sturdy and requires multiple steps to even think about being unlocked, that would fit an Xbox and the xbox be useable. Something that delays the behavior if not completely protects it from being stolen.

Price is not a concern if it works well. Please give me whatever recommendations you have. Preferably something that can be shipped to or purchased in Canada.

Go to a local metal fabrication shop and have them build a welded enclosure from steel. I’d suggest at least 1/4”. They can leave holes for cables and use a heavy metal mesh to allow for ventilation. Make it so the box can be bolted from the inside to something solid like the wood floor or better concrete. For the door you can use hardened shackle locks that can only be picked by a real pro. If a lock is not good enough use security screws or better regular screws and grind the heads so they can’t be removed. You’ll need to cut it open to get inside but it’s still there.

The act of cutting this open will probably destroy the console making it worthless so preventing theft.

It won’t be cheap.

Not the right place but I’m the right person.

Kensington Lock Port is on the back, so you can secure it using this, just make sure whatever you use to anchor it is solid.
