Anyone using annke?
I got a 8 channel annke camera system and the night vision is terrible I could hardly see. I'm wondering if it's me having bad setting or something

Look into infrared floodlights. I have them on my house and even when it is pitch black outside, I could count blades of grass. They are very helpful.

This is the correct answer. I will add that you should install the floodlights a decent distance away from the cameras, as the infrared will attract flying bugs.

That is true. Mine (8 of them) are basically mounted on the soffits, two on each side of my rather square house. The cameras are located where needed but some distance from the IR floodlights.

Describe how it's "terrible". If there's too much glare, angle the cameras away from reflective surfaces and light sources. The IR sensors might be picking up too much light. If it's too dark, adding a light source pointed towards where the camera is looking will help. But generally, bad night vision is one of the problems of cheaper brands like Annke.

Tell us how much you paid for the system and that may become the first indicator

I own their sister brand which is Sannce and they're decent cameras - I think Tapo and Reolink are better quality but they're decent for the price

We’ve had Annke for years. Cameras were decent at night but I added IR floodlights to a few of the bigger areas and that helped a lot.

Need a picture, but this is one area where you can tell a well made vs a cheaply made camera.
