Posting Need Help With My Reddit Account

Hi, I posted a lot of posts in a short period of time, and suddenly my profile picture and bio changed for some reason. I don’t know why. Now, whenever I visit my profile, this message keeps showing up.

If you suspect someone else has access to your account, these steps may help:

  1. Reset your password using the original email address on the account.
  2. Check account activity and end sessions you do not recognize.
  3. If the email address was changed, look for Reddit’s email-change notification and follow its recovery instructions.
  4. Once you regain access, use a unique password and enable two-factor authentication.
  5. If recovery is unsuccessful, submit a support request and select Security problems / I think my account has been hacked. Include the affected username and explain your concern in that private form. See the hacked-account guide.

If you have already filed a support ticket for a hacked account, it will be reviewed.

I submitted a ban appeal to Reddit a week ago, but the issue is still unresolved. My account is still banned. Is there anything else I can do? Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately there isn’t anything else you can do but wait.

Admins don’t have a set timeline for responding to these, so sometimes it can take long time. Days, weeks, months, if ever. It really depends on why the account was banned, and admins don’t share that info.
