Karma My upvotes/downvotes dont work?
Basically i upvote/downvote something, i refresh the page the upvote count goes back to how it was before, it dosent matter if i wait multiple weeks the upvote count will not take into account my vote.
Also upvoting/downvoting my own stuff dosent work.

It’s called vote fuzzing. Reddit does this on purpose to confuse voting bots and a couple other reasons. If the correct arrow is still lit, your vote counted.

There also seems to be a filter where votes from users who aren't active in subreddits get filtered out. My votes never count in subreddits that I've never commented on, but always count on subreddits that I am an active member of.

I'm on old reddit, I check my "Upvotes" and it doesn't show any for over a week, even though I've done hundreds.
I've upvoted comments with 0 or 1 karma and I check back a week later and the comment still has no upvote, even though it's highlighted.
I've spoken with others on oldreddit in another sub and they're not experiencing this.

If you think it’s a bug then you can check in r/bugs or submit it as a bug

This has been going on for over a week. Here are some other posts discussing it:
https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/1wrhi7f/voting_never_counts_anymore/
https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/1wwfb1n/when_i_vote_on_a_post_or_reply_i_see_the_count_go/
I haven't seen any actual help with this unfortunately.

It's really frustrating that people keep saying "It's just vote fuzzing" when it's more likely the participation filter. Vote Fuzzing changes the post score every time you refresh the page (and is more noticeable on Old Reddit), while the participation filter simply filters out the votes from users with little to no history or activity in the subreddit. When this happens, you upvote, then when you refresh the score reverts once and then stays consistent no matter how many times you refresh.

Thanks, I appreciate your constructive reply.
The participation filter indeed may be the issue for some, or for everyone some of the time.
Personally, I'm having that issue in subs that I have a history of participation in as well. Such as one I've been a member of for around 4 years with over 5,000 Karma. So there's something else too, at least for some of us. I'm planning on inquiring elsewhere about this tomorrow.
