I’m a left leaning socially progressive guy, I hate all forms of racism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, and pedophilia along with all the other bad stuff.

What I also hate (granted I hate it less than all the things mentioned above but still) is how people say “pedophiles don’t deserve human rights” or “Trump isn’t even a person to me” or things like this.

Every Nazi was a human being, every pedophile is a human being, every bad thing ever done by a person was done by a person. Human rights are unalienable, you cannot lose them no matter what you do, you can’t undo someone’s human rights no matter how deplorable they are.

To act like bad people not only puts more people in danger but also makes people more like to turn to fascist tendencies. The idea that people can be bad enough to warrant their rights being revoked is deeply rooted in bigotry. I hate hate hate when people do this.

Please view everyone as human, you don’t have to like them or respect them but view them as a human.

Edit: Some people seem to believe I’m saying to forgive bad people/ defend them. I am not, I am not saying pedophiles or racists are good or deserve mercy. I’m simply saying they are people, being a person does not make you deserve forgiveness but it makes you entitled to certain rights and privileges. I don't know why it's not like this on any other social media platform, but tiktok comments seem to have an incomprehensible tendency to reinforce the most insane people on the planet. You could tell a tiktok comment section you shot fire from your fingertips at 6 and you'll get 3 comments going "Me too!!! I could also control ice and shoot lightning from my taint!"

I don’t read or watch Demon Slayer, But this is just a stupid explanation for giving a strong character a slender build.

Personally, I don’t care if a character is strong but has a lean/slender build, whether it be a man or a woman. Although I do find it a bit weird that some creators are seemingly allergic to giving female characters any muscle, but again, I don’t care that much.

My issue here is that you easily could have just not addressed it. It’s a fantasy story full of demons and shit, I feel like you don’t need to give an in-universe explanation just so you can go “e-erm actually, she’s slender because of her very special body…” dude, you just didn’t want to give a woman muscles, don’t try to hide behind some kind of BS lore that you wrote for it.

Like Mark in Invincible can fight Conquest despite being the size of his torso, and I’m willing to accept that. It’s a story full of aliens and monsters, I can look past the fact that a lean 20 year old is taking on a hulked out 2000 year old. It doesn’t really break the immersion for me because it’s a fantastical story. I don’t need it to be super realistic. Just don’t try to make up some BS explanation like “erm, well, Mark is just magically holding in his muscle mass!”

At the end of the day, it’s your world and your story, if you wanna make a slender female character who is also really strong, that’s fine. But you also don’t need to cope so hard that you add lore specifically to deflect criticism against something so (let’s be honest) harmless.

You can play these games on the hardware of their time without An Emulator which takes a lot more processing power...

No. You’re just making excuses to enjoy a creation of AI. I don’t care how many people draw it, I don’t care how well it’s drawn or what it’s used in, it’s AI. It is a creation of AI. It comes from a person who used/uses AI. It doesn’t matter.

Someone could make a really nice portrait of a shitty person, that doesn’t make said person good. It doesn’t “revolutionise” how this person is. At the end of the day, they were a bad person, and if anything, you are contributing to creating this idea that the person was actually good.

As someone who's lived in Japan going on 5 years and has eaten everything from fine dining to fast food slop. Japan has some of the blandest cuisine on the planet. Do you like the flavour profiles of: salty, salty, very salty or bland? Japan might be the place for you.

These things act like a persistent environmental disease, always scratching at the door trying to get in, requiring constant pushback to keep them out. If they're let in, they get worse and harder to get rid of, until eventually they just completely take over the place and remove its original purpose.

The problem is, he wants as many sales as possible, so he doesn't interact like a regular Super Jump Man fan, he SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAMS his link on every conversation to reach as many people as possible. He needs to be dealt with quick if you don't want the entire sub to be spamming commercial links and no one actually talking.

And then along comes a "cosplayer" who seems oddly focused on the female side characters in the Super Jump Man world, and whose 'cosplay' seems to be a literally stripped-down version of how the characters typically look. Click on her profile, and surprise surprise, she's a porn model, and there are all the links to her paid websites. SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM, for the same reason as the first guy. Prepare for lots of "it's not porn, it's art!" and accusations of misogyny. Fail to take care of the first one, and watch lots of other "models" discovering that your subreddit is free ad space.

And politics. This one can be shills directly (individuals and/or bots bought by political campaigns to try to start "grassroots" conversations about their causes and candidates wherever they can), or it can just be individuals addicted to politics who can't stop talking about it, anywhere. Either way, if you don't put a stop to it, your subreddit is now just the three-millionth subreddit where everyone's talking about the political talking points of the day, instead of Super Jump Man. Prepare for poor attempts at relating it to the content ("[Super Jump Man] supports [my political opinions]!"). ("It's not politics, it's common sense!") ("You're just banning MY politics because you're an evil OTHER GUY supporter!")

And here's the thing. There's a time and a place for this shit. Want to be sold a CPU? Go to a subreddit that's about CPU's: performance and price comparisons, people talking about their experiences, people talking about where to buy them. Just don't spam subreddits that have nothing to do with that shit with ads. Same for porn (it's the Internet - you can find porn - you just want to be able to find other things too without porn drowning them out), same for politics (same shit as porn).

Mods are usually a plague on Reddit. Being "employed" for free, they're mostly paid in power trips (being able to use the ban button as a "fuck you" button and Reddit mostly looks the other way), but policing for these three basic infections IS the whole reason an Internet forum needs mods in the first place. I hate it when mods fail at their fundamental most basic reason for existing, which is making sure places exist on the Internet that aren't just free space for these three things.
