Comics I HATE WHEN PEOPLE TREAT DELETED SCENES AS CANNON
One I see a lot is Rocket Raccoon saying the Chitauri invasion during Avengers 1 was a joke, and people referencing this to downplay feats or the Avengers, when it's not even a canon scene,
Thanos's ship got damaged by Tony Stark's missiles, and sure, maybe they improved, but the Chitauri shrugged that shit off when hit directly with Iron Man lasers, only taking damage when they flew inside of it, and the mother ship only got defeated by a literal nuke.
I am sure there are others, and I would be curious if everyone else has examples that bug them, but I see this one a lot on my timeline, and it bugs the shit out of me. Irrational; I don't even really care about Marvel lore anymore.

I do think when the deleted scenes improve the experience I think its fine, like the deleted scene in borderlands 2 where jack poisoned wilhelm, or the one of ava claiming responsibility in 3 make so much more sense. A big one I can think of is the the deleted scene in halo 2, of the arbiter finding out humans are forerunner, where it was a split in Bungie of whether or not it was true, with 343 continuing that they were not related. However, when it comes to powerscaling, like yeah no its non-canon.

To be fair, the Endgame scene makes sense as it's not that he said that the Chitauri are bums, but that they had a very clear weakness they didn't exploit, and they didn't exploit it because they were not aware of it (Also Rocket is just an asshole to everyone, take all his insults with a grain of salt)
