There's currently a GIGABYTE promotion that gives you a pretty nice bonus for choosing a qualifying GIGABYTE Intel Z890 or B860 motherboard.
Buy an eligible motherboard from Amazon.com during the promotional period and you can claim one free AAA PC game through the Intel Software Advantage Program.
And you get to choose your game:
Dying Light: The Beast
HITMAN 3
Sid Meier's Civilization VII
So the question is:
Which one are you picking?
The motherboard side of the deal covers all GIGABYTE Z890 and B860 motherboards, giving builders plenty of options depending on how they're putting their system together.
GIGABYTE's Z890 and B860 boards are built around Intel Core Ultra desktop processors and include features aimed at both gaming and enthusiast builds, including:
DDR5 memory support
PCIe 5.0 for graphics and NVMe storage
Advanced thermal designs
Premium power delivery
Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5GbE on select models

The redemption process is:
1. Purchase an eligible GIGABYTE Z890 or B860 motherboard from Amazon.com.
2. Obtain your Intel Master Key.
3. Sign in or create an Intel Digital Hub account and redeem the key.

I recently bought an a16 i7 13620h/rtx 5060. For the first few days (prior update BIOS/GiMate) it feels great, it was already affected by the CPU power cap that many others also experience I think which pretty much explains why I only get 200 or frequently lower to 170 in Valorant Team Deathmatch , I get 240fps where i cap at stable in deathmatch, for competitive drops to 180 sometimes where many utils are used. But after updating BIOs to fb06 and gimate newest version (where turbo fan mode no longer exists) , my TDM in valorant stutters with bigger range and for frequently , going down to 140 150, deathmatch stutters whole lot. I also felt like my Minecraft fps also went down by 30 fps (I use shaders so before around 260fps now 216fps). I wonder if there's anyway that i can overcome this?. Also I would like to hear your experience post updating or just the general experience of this laptop. Thank you so much.
Hi, I recently built a pc for the 2nd time. While mounting the CPU cooler one of the screws fell on top of the motherboard and bounced away. Does this section of the motherboard look ok? I'm scared of turning it on and accidentally frying my cpu

Hey everyone,
I recently bought a GIGABYTE AERO X16, and Iβve noticed something about the hinges that Iβm not sure is normal.
When the screen is almost fully closed (around 10 degrees before closing completely), it suddenly falls shut under its own weight when I let go.
The hinges feel fine at wider angles, but near the closed position, the screen seems to lose resistance and closes on its own.
I have tried to delete the GCC and install back, the same with drivers, and just a lot of other stuff. The sensors seem to be alright but the GCC somehow just fails. Te GPU is showed right so it is terrible. The most terrible part is that i means the fans work always like the CPU have 61Β°C so i can't use it hard without changing the fan speed by hand. Anyone knows the fix? I have the newest GCC and drivers from the official website. The laptop specs and model: Gigabyte G6X 9KG
CPU: Intel Core i7-13650HX (14 cores / 20 threads, up to 4.9 GHz)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop (8 GB, ~105W)
RAM: 16 GB DDR5 (expandable to 64 GB)
Display: 16β³ 1920Γ1200, 165 Hz
Storage: ~1 TB NVMe SSD (PCIe Gen4)
EDIT: The issue is somehow fixed after... going into the BIOS and then just starting the laptop like always. The post stays just to see if anyone knows what have happened. Have a good day.
Hello, I tried to turn on vrr, in monitors settings it says turned on, but in both windows and amd adrenaline it says not supported, so I wonder what it is and hwo do I know if its on or off
I got my Gigabyte Aorus Master 5090 back in march of 2025, its been a fantastic card. But, I want to see how hotspot temp is for other owners
Last night, playing arc raiders at 4k, DLAA, cinematic im avging 74-78c core, 65-68c vram and 85-95c hotspot, but, I want to say that I noticed a few times the core hit 79c and hotspot temp was 97c...thats a delta of 18c and is definitely higher than id like it to be. Considering normal hotspot delta is 8-15c above core...
Had it horizontally mounted its entire life, in a phanteks nv7 w/ all phanteks d30 fans, case gets plenty of airflow, and I keep my bedroom a nice cold 64f (18c)...so im thinking id hate to see what these temps are like if my room was at 72-75f (23c) like the rest of my house is..
I will say im waiting on Thermal Grizzly to release Delta Mate waterblock for my gpu and will be throwing that on as soon as its available
But I wanted to see what other owners are seeing
Since my vram temps are great im thinking the core got a shitty application of their thermal paste/liquid metal mixed stuff....god I reslly cant wait for the TG Delta Mate block
With so many big releases competing for attention this year, some genuinely great games can get lost in the conversation.
What's a game you've played in 2026 that you think deserves way more attention than it's getting? It doesn't have to be an indie game or a brand-new release. If it's a game you discovered this year and think more people should be playing, we want to hear about it.
Maybe it has great gameplay that never gets old, a surprisingly good story, an addictive multiplayer loop, or something unique that you haven't found in other games.
Drop your recommendations below and tell us:
What's the game, and what makes it worth playing?
What does it do particularly well?
Who would you recommend it to?
Is there a specific reason you think it flew under the radar?
Feel free to recommend games from any genre, whether it's an FPS, RPG, survival game, strategy title, horror game, or something completely different.
Let's build a list of games worth checking out that might not be getting enough attention. I'm always interested in finding something new to play, and hopefully others here are too! πΎ
