Looking for deep lore games

As the title suggests, first of all, sorry for my bad English. I'm looking for games where, beyond the main story, the world has a lot of history and lore, like in The Witcher or The Elder Scrolls games.

Try Mass Effect. You'll spend more time reading the codex than shooting lol.
