Did you play Fallout 4 and if so, did you enjoy the building in that? I consider FO4 to be my personal best in class building in any game ever. I've spent well over 1,000 hours in that game and I only beat it once. I love how it allows you to build things that look like it fits in the setting and that you can decorate things with clutter to make the builds look lived in. I also enjoyed how you have more free form as opposed to snapped in place.
Does Enshrouded fit that at all? I played Runescape and everything I made (granted in my limited time) looked very snapped together and cookie cutter.
It snaps a little bit. Also you can build permanent structures only around your spawn points (that you place yourself). The rest of the world gets reset every day

I was pretty meh about it until I got deeper into building. Easily the best building system ever imo
