Recruiter Looking for Devs/Team for a Cinematic Tactical FPS (Vietnam-style Setting + Advanced Weapon Mechanics)

Hey everyone,

I have a very specific vision for a Tactical FPS that fills a huge gap I’ve been craving as a gamer for years. I’m not a developer, nor am I looking for financial gain; I’m doing this purely as a passionate gamer who wants to create the perfect game I could sink thousands of hours into.

The Idea & Core Concept:

Many titles on the market are either too slow and overly realistic, or too fast and arcadey. I’m looking for programmers, artists, and developers to build a war experience together that hits the sweet spot between tactical depth and high-intensity assault, wrapped in an incredibly cinematic and immersive atmosphere.

Setting: Inspired by the jungle environments and warfare aesthetic of the Vietnam era, but not tied to a specific historical event or real-world location—giving us full creative freedom for maps and scenarios.

Realistic Weapon Mechanics: Deep engagement mechanics, realistic ballistics, and a weapon jam/malfunction system that requires quick thinking to clear during intense firefights.

Gameplay & Immersion: Zero HUD or on-screen crosshairs/markers to guide you. Navigation happens strictly through 3D physical maps, proximity voice chat, and walkie-talkie radio channels.

Logistics & Cooperation: Supplies don’t just magically spawn. Teams need to call in requests via bunkers and radio stations, wait for delivery, and transport supply crates using trucks, boats, or helicopters to supply the front line.

Cinematic Visual Style: A gritty, visceral aesthetic. We’ll use retro filters, heavy fog, and desaturated tones to create an apocalytic, cinematic mood while optimizing overall performance.

Project Structure (Full Team Autonomy):

Technical details, game engine choice, and the exact duration of war campaigns aren’t set in stone: they will be decided and refined together with the team during the initial stages.

The Deal: I don’t care about money. The entire future revenue or percentage shares belong and will stay 100% (or 95%+) with the dev team. I only want credit for the overall creative vision and, above all, the chance to play it with you.

If you are a programmer or technical artist looking for a passion project with no commercial pressure and want to build an unforgettable war simulation, leave a comment or DM me on Discord!

Let's build the war experience we've been waiting for (or at least, the one I've been waiting for).
