One of the main actors in The Rookie left the show during the height of the BLM movement given moral objection to glorification of the police from the show.

Stephanie Beatriz had her character on B99 reworked entirely because she took a stance against police targeting minorities

I maintain the final season should have been "Brooklyn 99: Vice," with most of the squad becoming criminals after being, yet again, wrongfully accused by the rest of the NYPD.

Santiago should have been the one person to remain behind (because she's the ultimate narc), and should have been the antagonist for most of the season.

That would have been fun!
