... it's a lot easier to regulate pesticides and herbicides when the food is grown domestically.

Does Thailand have strict controls on the use of pesticides? I honestly have no idea.

Who said it is? The ad says "but I don't want to show you how it's grown". 

Yeah, they're still in Thailand... not sure if you noticed any of the other insane shit happening in the PSA but it isn't meant to be taken literally... 

You are acting like they are stupid but you just didn't comprehend the ad...
