I ask people if they have liberty mutual in accusing tones often. I want to make it socially unacceptable to support that company.

I will join you in this fight.

Stupid insurance ads from ALL major companies repeat so often they've caused me mild psychological damage; they'll never get a dime from me.

The only one I don't see ad nauseam is the All State Mayhem commercials. I actually like those.

Those are fun because the character is so dark PLUS it at least addresses the purpose of insurance. Liberty Biberty is a nothing.

Ooh maybe you just need an emu that rhymes with it instead.

Which is a little funny because in a survey of consumers, Mayhem was the insurance mascot people were least likely to be able to connect to the brand (Flo, Gecko, Jake, and Emu I think were all more "connectable").

'You seem like the type of person who has Liberty Mutual' sounds about on par with 'I bet you have a Minions sign in your kitchen'

The latest is about generic drugs, is it that one?

Yep! The last 5-10 minutes is about the Liberty Biberty mascot

Liberty commercials are so moronic. Put the CGI/AI emu to pasture and have Doug parachute into a Yellowstone hot spring.

There is literally an anti-Liberty Biberty protest in Boston on the 25th, that's how much people hate him

Wait seriously? The commercials are annoying as hell, sure, but I didn’t think they’d be protest worthy.

It may be one of the few protests people can attend without getting pepper sprayed from less than a foot away. Maybe.

I swear, Liberty Biberty is the result of them feeding their ad scripts from the past 5-10 years into an LLM and what you see is the output.

I just saw that commercial for the first time last night. I told my partner that I wanted to to my hands in that things mouth and pull it apart. I've never felt such immediate fight or flight.

I don't care if they offer better coverage for half the price, I will never use them specifically because often their commercials.

That's the minor leagues. The stupid Peyton Manning commercials can all die in a fire... I'm Motivatin Manning, I'm Painting Manning! Jesus stfu.

tbh all insurance commercials are insufferable, but they know we need it so i feel like its just a race to the bottom to stir up the most infamy

That guy is totally cute though, and while he doesn't fall on the Hot ⬆ Crazy ➡ graph, he is on the classic Hot ⬆ Empty-Headed ➡ graph.
