Does anyone know a job that is hiring ? I am tired of competing with older adults for a fast food/retail job .

I've always wanted to become an art teacher, but school has always been difficult with my adhd. Undergrad was a bit hard for me, and I've been hesitant with getting my credential because I am concerned if the workload may be too much for me.

Hi, is anyone having no Internet problems. I went on my laptop this morning and for some reason my laptop and phone are giving me no Internet even they're both connected and the Wi-Fi good. I've tried restarting and doing what I could to fix this but nothings working. This is bad because I live on campus and I need to connect to the Internet to do my work. What should I do?

am i the only one who hasn’t received any emails from the financial aid office since august? i checked WG4S and it did show i was receiving it but i haven’t heard anything and it also doesn’t even show on my student portal.

For context, I work full-time (35 hours a week) and take three classes. My daily routine is leave the house around 7am, work 7:30am-3pm. Class at 4 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Class 6-8:30 Monday. Then Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3-4 hours at the library after class. Weekends I spend 3-4 hours each day on homework. Needless to say I am pretty tired by the end of the day. Usually in bed by 10-11.

I am experiencing some burn out. I do have things to look forward to on Friday nights and Saturday nights. But I am really really tired before then. Any tips?

Hey! I have a 4.0 gpa in pre-reqs and 4.0 in overall, but I’m honestly spiraling about taking the TEAs. I’m still deciding whether or not it would be worth it to apply in the fall since my advisor made it sound so outrageously competitive to the point i feel like it’s impossible… i’m thinking if i get above an 85% on TEAs i’ll apply in the fall, if not, i guess wait for spring? 🤷‍♀️ is this game plan or what…

Hey guys, I should preface this that I am not a Fresno State student, but I am a recent college grad who just moved to the area for work. I grew up playing soccer pretty competitively, and I wanted to find regular pickup groups and sunday leagues games to play in. Does anybody know where I can find stuff like this? Thanks!

Just a little bit about myself I am 18, I am currently a freshman, I started lifting back in November and I am starting to get way more into it I think it’s awesome, I did notice I am at a point in my training where I am regularly having to ask for a spot around the gym and would rather just have someone go with me to help each other out. I had some friends at the start but they all quit so I’m just looking for someone a little more committed and willing to actually train. Also I usually go to valley fitness over on ashlan and cedar it’s a few minutes from state just because it’s 24/7 and has decent equipment but I’m willing to go to the rec center but feel free to reach out!

There’s so many posts here of people wanting to make friends, or trying to date and I think the problem is that everyone’s awkward and even if that weren’t the case, most of us are crazy busy.

I’m mostly making this post because I’m not sure if I’m just a lazy whiny baby, or if I’m actually giving it my all. And so I thought hey, this is an idea dumb enough to maybe get people together, the 17% of us or whatever that are on Reddit, so here it is

Sundays and Mondays I have it the easiest. I can sleep in both days but need to do homework until about 3:45 or sometimes 1:45 then I go to work for 6-8 hours, closing shift so way more work than morning shift…

Tuesdays and Thursdays are the only days I have to go on campus. Parking in the first weeks this semester was hell, so I was getting up at 6:30 and driving from Lemoore just in case.

I wanted 15 units but of course I was position 1 on the waiting list for a class, so same tuition cost and 3 less units…

I have classes from 9:30 to 3:50, then I have a job here in Fresno too. 4-9 both days.

Wednesday I wake up at 6:30 for work and get quite the arm work out slicing ingredients. But I get to watch my phone so that’s cool. I’m usually out by 1:00 or 2:00. Sometimes I pick up a shift in Fresno, sometimes I go home and crash

Fridays and Saturdays I work double shifts. One in Lemoore one in Fresno. 9:00am to 10:00pm with two hours of commute so I’m back home at 11:00pm

So no days off but I’m also living at home so no rent. If even just one person thinks this post is novel enough to share their schedule. I will consider this post a success.
