It is cool. He is just 1 person in a large company.

Musk has married 2 people, is that really an issue? A good number of people in this sub have probably married 2 people.

Musk said he needed “a legion of children before the civil war”. That's fucking weird, let alone asking women to pay them for birthing his children.

-11

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago

And that's relevant to the photos in the OP how?

Is 14 children the cutoff? ODB has 13 kids, no one's posting about wutang being a horrible organization because of children or wives ...

I replied to a post about wives not children. Let's leave the fucking goalposts in place.

How many billions of dollars did ODB get from no bid contracts while gutting agencies investigating his business while taking 20%+ of yearly revenue from federal tax dollars? I would be totally interested in that. I only chimmed in on the kid thing because it was talked about in the above.

What does that have to do with the privately funded launch in the photo above?

What does wives now have to do with children?

Your ability to pick a lane is worse than autopilot.

Taxpayer dollars heavily funded this exact launch. Why do you keep lying about it not being tax payer funded?

While SpaceX is a private company, this specific flight was the CRS-35 mission, a contract paid for by NASA using federal tax dollars to deliver cargo and science experiments to the International Space Station.

Think of it like FedEx or UPS: SpaceX owns the delivery truck (the Falcon 9 rocket), but the U.S. government paid the massive shipping bill to send the package.

Also, if the head of a company is paying women for children to amass children to "fight a civil war", I would think Americans wouldn't be stupid enough to give him no bid contracts, at the least question the management of the company we do business with.

I apologize, I guess google was a bit behind. When I searched for space X flight schedule after seeing this post the latest one I saw was a starlink launch yesterday (the 12th). Now I am seeing that this one from this morning. Also east vs west coast so that makes sense.

So the government paid a company to do a job? Emphasis on the word bill that you chose above as well. What does that have to do with children or wives or the fact that we have been contracting outside companies to build are planes, rockets, and satellites for decades before musk even stepped foot into the US. This is just how it has worked and has nothing to do with musk, or his children, or his wife.

The way ANY head of a business conducts themselves in the national spotlight while getting tax breaks, federal dollars, or no contract bids, while gutting the departments that are investigating him, will always be a matter of public interest and scrutiny.

You think if I hired prostitutes and multiple women to make babies for me it wouldn't blow back on me as a business owner, held accountable by a board?? Heeeeeellll yeah it would.

-1

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago

This line of discussion stems from someone accusing musk of having wives.. Not prostitutes and not even children, they thought musk being married was a problem.

14 children with 4 mothers….

-5

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago

What's that have to do with your initial off topic incorrect statement?

Ok staying on Elon

Elon Musk has funneled $276 million into Republican groups and his own America PAC since July 2026, making him the largest known donor of the 2026 midterms. His total spending for this election cycle has reached $366 million.

Watch our tax dollars in flight! We all donated $10 each so a trillion are can fly his space ships! Cool shot, just wished that I my money wasn't TAKEN from me to subsidize his wealth, approved by their board year after year.

2

u/AztecPilot1MY 1d ago

What? You didn't get your DOGE check yet to reimburse you?

This was a starlink launch which is owned by space x. Spacex paid for the rocket and all launch costs. Plus space x has paid the is government for the privilege to build launch pads on us government faxilties.

Space x has had government contracts to build rockets and related items for the US government, the us government got what they(we) paid for.

Musk is problematic, this ain't it .

Edit I found the wrong launch this was an ISS supply mission not a starlink launch, that was yesterday.

11

u/DavidOrWalter 2d ago

Calling musk ‘problematic’ is like saying Hitler ‘had some issues’.

Also, fuck space x and anything he touches. It’s all too shitty and corrupt.

6

u/bloughmiegh the real DTF Beaver🌳🚙 2d ago

It’s also hilarious how “this ain’t [problematic]” when it’s clearly a ploy to create a market and subsequently claim a monopoly on it, all at the expense of a bunch of garbage in our night sky.

0

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 2d ago

Now we are just moving goal posts. Understanding that Space X pays for these launches and doesn't receive subsidies (for this type of launch) has nothing to do with liking or not liking the impact of the satellites in the sky. I didn't respond to someone saying that. Is is now a requirement when posting to list every possible objection that someone may have with a company/person?

-1

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 2d ago edited 1d ago

That wasn't the key part. The person is incorrect about subsidies and this sub continues to have an obsession with being willfully ignorant.

We didn't pay for this launch. (edit ISS launch not the starlink launch I found initially)

u/NuckoLBurn 2d ago edited 2d ago

No bid contracts, giving Musk the lead to cut divisions of the government including those departments investigating SpaceX, a board that caves to his outrageous pay package. US paid SpaceX 20% of their revenue last year. You can't direct say weather or not US tax dollars went to this launch and not.

I'm obviously leaving out the multiple positives that this company creates (jobs and less US reliance on Russians space) because the Space X leader is corrupt along with it's board. Nothing I said was willfully ignorant. I'm not willing to take what little good the business does with the leaders infinite wealth and deception that's partially oming out of my pocket. Why doesn't he step up and be a philanthropist FOR ONCE.

0

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 2d ago

And irrelevant to space x paying for them to launch their own starlink satellites.

I stated that musk is problematic but that apparently was a problem. so I am, not sure what anyone wants me to say. I can't say the guys bad or I can't explain how the funding works despite it all being correct everyone has a problem with it.

Let's stick to facts, and even then facts related to the photos above.

Getting distracted with musk hate is pointless, especially when it has nothing to do with the topic like the moronic post about his wives below.

1

u/DavidOrWalter 1d ago

Musk isn’t ‘problematic’. He’s a white supremacist hate mongering pathetic loser who is lucky he isn’t in jail for all kinds of things including election interference.

But yeah. A dumb fucking thing launched that we paid for. Cool.

You sound like you’d defend Hitler saying he ‘built a lot of roads and infrastructure’

0

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago edited 1d ago

WE DIDN'T PAY FOR THIS.

This is a photo of a launch that someone appreciated, this isn't about musk.

The way that Germany constructs its roadways is vastly superior to the way the US builds them. Understanding that has nothing to do with Hitler, in the same way that appreciating the science of launching a rocket has nothing to do with Musk.

(edit this was an ISS supply launch not the starlink launch I first found, that was yesterday)

2

u/NuckoLBurn 1d ago

We did pay for this. And stop lying, I'll copy and paste this all day to everytime you say we didn't find it.

Taxpayer dollars heavily funded this exact launch. Why do you keep lying about it not being tax payer funded?

While SpaceX is a private company, this specific flight was the CRS-35 mission, a contract paid for by NASA using federal tax dollars to deliver cargo and science experiments to the International Space Station.

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago

I already replied to you saying you were correct and that I found the wrong flight schedule information.

So maybe stop and read before you break your control key.

u/Plaguedoctorsrevenge 2d ago

Yes, we did pay for it. All of this money came from our taxes, full fucking stop

-1

u/TacoTruckAficionado 1d ago

No, no it does not.

3

u/DavidOrWalter 1d ago

Every fucking tax dollar given to him in no bid contracts absolutely did. He isn’t going to sleep with you or hang out with you or whatever you’re desperately trying to get here.

1

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago

A quick google search seems to indicate that the majority of the Space X contracts were while a democrat was in office btw.

4

u/DavidOrWalter 1d ago

No idea what you’re talking about or why you’re sweating this white supremacist so fucking hard.

Stop saying he’s ‘problematic’. Say that even though he’s a hate spreading white supremacist, the fact he used tax dollars to build a rocket someone took a picture of is incredible to you.

0

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago

You brought up that the no bid contracts were problematic and seem to be tying more recent musk issues with them.

If we are going to go off the rails and nit pick everything about it might as well supply some background information for it.

But keep moving the goal posts, solid way to prove you don't have a fucking point or an original thought.

5

u/DavidOrWalter 1d ago

Literally everything he touches is a problem. No goal posts have been moved. You are infatuated with a white supremacist. Just call it like it is.

1

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago

Can you point to where I said anything positive about Musk for you to jump to the conclusion that I am infatuated with him? In fact you are only engaging with me because I spoke negatively about him, I just didn't go negative enough.

I agree fuck the 3 US astronauts on the ISS right now because they were involved with Musk... absolutely terrible people. They are all problems according to you.

0

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago edited 1d ago

I don't like musk, if you have a point make one, you haven't.

Space X was paid for contracts that would have gone to someone, the money was spent regardless. Space X has also REDUCED the cost for the government to launch things.

None of that matters this was a private launch... (edit sorry this was a ISS supply launch, I initially found a starlink launch but that was yesterday)

1

u/DavidOrWalter 1d ago

Do you know what a no bid contract is? You clearly don't.

Yes, tax payers literally paid for this exact launch.

1

u/Swimming-Yellow-2316 1d ago

May I suggest we get a little quikrete in this thread, the goal posts are all over the place.

0

u/Charles_Mendel 1d ago

Elon is a fraud.
